It took me about 35 minutes to successfully beat him, and that seemed crazy to me. There was also Dark Falz, and I nearly died when I first saw him. He was pretty tough to beat, especially on higher difficult settings, with that ridiculous blade attack that took off maybe 70% of your energy bar. I remember as a kid, I thought the final Sonic 2 boss was really hard. In later years, of course, I didn't have many problems with him. Also, Jonah wanted God to kill over 100,000 people in a city, but changed his mind (God didn't actually do it). The construction of the Temple took about 20 years, and had an awful lot of nice materials used for build and decorate it. Lots and lots of gold, and bronze, and other stuff as well. Just before getting into the Promised Land, some of the Israelites had turned away from God, and he was angry about it. There was also something from the Book of Proverbs that made me chuckle, but I've read that part of the Bible before. It said that stupid people should be punished. Doesn't seem to happen that often, though. The Bible is an interesting book, but just good for spiritual development. The aesthetic, i.e. dark and gothic, has existed for a while, and it's not like after the first game came out, almost every other game released was incredibly hard. You could argue that Virtua Racing should be on the list. It was the very first 3D racing game, and of course, it was one of the first 3D games in general. I remember all those coloured polygons. I mean, imagine all we could save by taking apart various space agencies. People who work for groups like NASA, and other scientists still love it, and think it's super important, but I'm not sure why. The only thing that is really interesting is perhaps manned exploration, but since we haven't even gotten to Mars yet, which is our fucking next door neighbour, and exploring outside our solar system is probably decades off, it's hard to care. I mean, gah, there was even a Simpsons episode about this, and that was back in the 90s. Bart and Homer desperately try to change the channel, so they don't have to waste ten seconds of their live watching another space launch.
