Also, with mentioning FFIX, one thing that kinda throws me off is that yes, it does have tons of references to old school Final Fantasy. Despite that, it's probably one of the few Final Fantasy games up until then to not let you custom-build your characters however you wanted. Lots of people complain about stuff like that, but it's kind of a staple of Final Fantasy games to let you customize every character however you want. Aside from FFIX, the only other game I can think of that did that before FFIX was FFIV. So despite being such an homage to the FF series, having the characters be stuck with their classes kinda goes against that. --- WHO MODS THE MODERATORS? |

But I feel there is a ton of work that goes into making just one LBP level, and it might not even be that good. I could give it another shot, but what's the point if it ends up bad? Also Pinball?? That's genius! I never would have thought of that! This is what I mean. ;_; (Lack of creativity/imagination.) The most elaborate I got was a side-scrolling tank shooter similar to Blaster Master. WaterLink posted... Mario Maker is a good creative tool but I ended up just playing everyone else's levels. >_> I've had one or two levels actually end up with something like 30 Stars. Out of something like, 15 levels, I wouldn't consider that a massive success, though. By the way, other games with creative things that I utterly fail at are the Sims series, Cities Skylines/SimCIty 4, or Animal Crossing... I have no fashion sense for either Sims or AC, my houses in Sims games are shit, and my towns in Cities Skylines and Animal Crossing look terrible. All these things trigger some stupid impulse within me that make me think, "We could do stuff with this! Let's edit/design/make something!" But it's nothing compared to what other people could create. Also, there's a shitload of replies since I started writing this. I will debate that I don't believe if everyone just practiced, that everyone could have an equal level of talent, or imagination. I don't think any amount of practice is going to give me the same ability as others. BTW, this topic was partially inspired because I tried doing some RPing an hour or two ago in a chat room, and I was so fucking abysmal at it that I pretty much scared all 3 people away. _ (Kind of got me thinking about pen & paper RPGs, and how fun those look, but I'd be shit at those, too.) Regardless, it has kinda encouraged me to open RMMV. I'm in the mood for some turn-based RPG making. I feel ashamed to do it, though. --- WHO MODS THE MODERATORS? |

Well, as close as they can get, anyway. 99% of the songs are Japanese, since that's what the voice synthesizer specializes in. The characters, like Miku, Luka, Rin, Len, etc. have their own unique voices. Everything else about the characters, like their favorite food, their likes/dislikes, personality, etc. are all determined and made-up by the fans.
