I know it's wrong to raise and slaughter them so brutally. However, I don't think there's anything wrong with eating meat if the animal is raised properly and killed humanely. That said, I eat it anyway because I like it. I try to buy meat that wasn't so cruelly raised.

This also means that even if YOU personally don't use Messenger, Facebook still has logs of calls you have made to anybody who DOES have Messenger on their android phone. As well as texts.

For every phone call you've made to somebody with Messenger on their android phone, Facebook knows

when the call was made
how long it lasted
whether it was picked up by them/how many times you tried calling
That it came from you
Your name and whatever other info that person wrote for you in their contacts
Maybe more--I wonder if they get access to photos people use for you in their contacts

And they also know every time you sent a text to that person.

So even if you don't use Messenger or even if you don't use facebook, they can still know who you're calling and texting, and how often, and what your name and phone number are.

This is just some random guy who decided to download an archive of the data Facebook had accrued on him. They have records of all of his phone calls, including who they were with, when they were, and how long they lasted. As well as incoming phone calls he missed, and who they were from. He didn't make these calls using a facebook app, either.

I'm downloading mine to see what they have for me. Apparently they collect this data if you use Messenger on an android phone (which I don't but I'm curious what they have).

Facebook says it's something you opt into when you use Messenger. But I don't think anybody really knew they were storing all this until now. Even without the call audio and texts content, you can still learn some big secrets from looking at who calls whom, and for how long. For some people that data could contain very sensitive secrets.

Not only is he good at puppets, he's also hilarious and one of the funniest and most charming improvisers I can think of. Watching old videos of him improvising as Kermit, whether he's riffing against Miss Piggy in unscripted bloopers or playing with kids on set, he's always funny and witty.

I was really hyped for it based on the trailer thanks to its lovely visuals, but the demo left me feeling kind of bored. I wish I enjoyed it more, but to me it just feels like another bland FF RPG :(

I hope some more developers try using this kind of style, though.

The customer service is fucking awful. Also to say it's $6.95 per month is deceptive. It's more like $90 a year, because that's how much they make you pay. It's not a monthly thing. And there's a $5 extra "because we feel like it" "activation fee" that they separate from the rest of the price so that they can claim it's $6.95 a month instead of $7.50

It does work, but I've never recommended it to anybody just because their CS is sooooo bad.

There are some really great songs in BOTW but the thing is, most of them are only heard once for a minute or so, and you spend the other 96% of the game in an overworld with ambient piano coming in and out. There are a few tracks with strong simple melodies that become earworms like the ocarina songs in OoT, like Kass's theme, but I think most of the soundtrack's best songs are a different style.

To say it has no good tracks is just wrong.

I never feed my roommate's dog, he just likes me because we play together and I keep him company. Here he is getting excited when I get to the door. He gets scared when strangers approach but grew happy with me over time. He's well behaved, doesn't smell bad and barely sheds.

That's 90% water weight. The same thing happens to me in the first few days of cutting/bulking. It used to scare me to suddenly gain/lose 8-11 pounds in a few days, but now I know it's not muscle or fat, it's just water.

You are quite obese, so at first you should be okay losing weight more quickly than most, but not 900 calories a day. 2 pounds a week should work at first, but 900 calories a day is still too little IMO.

It reminds me of my dumbass brother who fattened up to 200 pounds last year and then ate 500 calories a day in January-february to lose 40 pounds really quickly. He got a bad skin rash and it affected his mood. Good thing I don't live with him any more

5.5 is average unless your scale included 0. If it had 0, then 5 would be smack in the middle.

The reason 7 feels like a rating for an average game is that we already have filtered out the shovelware crap that lands on the lower half of the scale. Sites like IGN don't review games like Wreck-it Ralph for Nintendo DS, because we already know it's like a 2/10. For the most part, the games that are reviewed in games are generally at least 5/10.

I'm gonna take it a step further and say that I actually DO think Switch is the best console. I've played all the consoles back to the Gamecube/Xbox/PS2 generation. It has the best console design ever, and if it continues to pump out games like it has been so far then it'll cement its status as far as I'm concerned.

Its biggest problem IMO is its poor online infrastructure, but that hasn't bothered me so far and I think it will be updated this year to be improved.

I think it's worth discussing. Facebook is not innocent. It's a huge political player at this point whether it likes it or not, and it also manages and sells lots of personal information. It's absolutely worth it to be wary of them. I still have a facebook account but I don't really post anything to it. To dismiss concerns about Facebook so casually is short-sighted IMO.

Dumb people will call any movie about gay people oscar bait, even if it's really just a normal teen romance flick. Oscar bait is stuff like The King's Speech. Love, Simon isn't gonna have any presence at the Oscars, the Academy isn't gonna suddenly love it just because it's gay, and if you think its writers/actors were counting on that happening, then you are clueless.
