depends on the local laws, but for the most part yes, you would be.

some apartments allow an actual lease transfer to take place provided you find a worthy tenant to replace yourself with, but that isn't too common.

i subletted my way out of a shitty roommate situation in the past. luckily i vetted well enough to find someone that didn't cause me any financial hardships.

I don't even know. It doesn't mention it in the lease, nor did the leasing office mention it when I brought up breaking the lease. Everyone she knows are food stamp hoarding nobodies and she's a teenaged pregnancy statistic pretty soon, so no one's replacing my income.

No one she knows is even reliable.

I wish I could just leave. I really do. But I have to tough it all out.

this happened to me once on a windows laptop running windows 10 (died mid-use and refused to start). on mac i would go for something like an smc reset which requires removing the battery and holding the power button down to discharge all of the remaining energy in the unit.. so on a whim i did this with the windows laptop, reintroduced the battery and it started up with 0 issues. the laptop is now in the possession of a family member and has operated without issue for 2 years. maybe i was just lucky.

i remember entirely surrendering and feeling peaceful as i accepted a complete loss of control of my vehicle (doing multiple 360s). i accepted that i could die but that there was nothing that could be done about it.
