Necron is actually a great final boss, if you really think on it. The game is pretty much a game about life, ya know? Finding ones purpose, a reason to live, a reason to exist, your place in the world. Sounds corny, but ultimately, those are the central themes to the story...as are life and death.

Necron is the personification of death. Not just your death, but everyone's death. The end of all things. The end itself. He is the antithesis to everything the story stands for. The final battle is literally life's struggle to overcome death and total oblivion.

It's all really metaphorical, but Necron fits right into the game's story and underlying themes, even if the character itself came completely out of nowhere.

When I was 9 my family was in a horrible car accident. I was hurt the worst of everyone, but all my injuries were internal and I was in shock so it didn't specifically look like I was hurt badly. Cue many doctors and medical staff deciding to simply not check if I was hurt at all. I got sent home the next day, but it turns out my intestines had been severed by the seatbelt and had also damaged my spine from the impact. I mean, imagine getting hit in the belly so hard that it actually impacts your spine. I was in constant extreme pain and even after repeated trips back to the hospital, they still didn't actually check if anything was wrong. This went one for nearly a week, by this time I was wishing for death. I couldn't think straight and was mostly out of it. One final trip to the hospital and they recognized I was at death's door. This time they figured out what the problem was, I had gangrene from my dead rotting guts that had been festering for a week... So emergency surgery to remove a bunch of my guts, and I was on the road to recovery. I was told that I wouldn't have survived the night, that it was literally on the verge of being too late to save me. I also had to go through physical therapy afterwards due to my back injury.

I still have very painful problems from that. About once or twice a month, my guts cramp up just like they felt back then. I'd definitely rate it 10/10 on the pain scale. I hate it so much, it basically paralyzes me and sometimes I think I'm dying from it still.

It hurt to read that...that's so awful.

I had some kind of lower grade pnuemonia back in late 2016. It lasted for about 3-4 weeks, and at the height of my sickness, I was coughing so much that I could barely sleep. For about a week, I was going off about 1-3 hours of fragmented sleep a day.The fever made it worse. I was becoming delirious by that point. I'm telling you, sleep and rest never felt so good once I was done with that...

I had a similar sickness that went on for about a month back in 2012 or 2013, also at around the same time of year. The coughing wasn't as severe, but I had a runny nose (more like an open faucet for a nose) and probably went through 2 full boxes of tissues. It was an awful, awful cold. What's worse is I seemed to catch it TWICE, which is why it went on for so long. My symptoms got better for like a week, then suddenly they worsened again and I had to deal with a couple more weeks of coughing and runny nose.

I actually rarely get sick. It usually only happens every few years or so. But when I do, I tend to catch the worst bugs...

Remake is the best. But for curiosity and nostalgia, play RE1 Director's Cut. You can just get it from the PSN store (PS3). Not sure if they have it in PS4.

Just be warned that the Director's Cut version has a HORRIBLE soundtrack. Literally so bad it dampens the experience, because it really wrecks the atmosphere.

While the hungry and starved need to eat, if I had to choose, I would go with curing cancer. Cancer is the worst disease known to man, and is a truly terrible, terrible thing. People who are hungry, can be helped, and fed. Cancer, on the other hand, is a living nightmare. Millions of people get some form of it every year, and rarely is it ever cured or stopped. Most of the time, all you can do when you have cancer is prolong your life by 5-10 years, if lucky. It takes the lives of countless people, including people who could potentially do a lot of good for the world, and in turn help those who are starved.

Yes, animals can develop bonds with humans. Animals can love you and defend you with their life, but that does not mean they are sexually attracted to you. FYI, a dog humping your leg doesn't mean it wants to have sex with you, it means it thinks it's the leader of the "pack" (in this case you and/or your family) and is trying to display domination over you, as they do other dogs. A good pet owner is not supposed to let this happen; you're the boss, not them.

Also, note that I said the vast majority of animals don't have sex for pleasure. That doesn't mean all animals, I am well aware that there are some species that do this.

Reminds me of the first time I had a hemorrhoid burst. Got up, looked in the toilet, nothing but red. That was terrifying, thought I had severe internal bleeding.

Now I know that internal bleeding makes your poo look all charcoal like though, and tarry, so it's good to watch out for that.

VIII or IX, I can't decide which. Both have phenomenal soundtracks. VII also has many memorable tracks, though I feel like overall VIII and IX's soundtracks are better.

VIII definitely has the edge over IX as far as battle tracks, though, and this would probably put its soundtrack above IX's for me. Don't Be Afraid, Force your Way, The Man with the Machine Gun, Premonition, The Legendary Beast, Maybe I'm a Lion and The Extreme, one of the most underrated final boss themes in the entire series. All amazing tracks.

A lot of its area music is memorable to me, too. Balamb Garden, Timber, Esther, the scene musics...ya know...I think VIII actually does have my favorite soundtrack in the series, followed by IX.

Actually yes. Because Fahrenheit deals with higher numbers, it offers more accurate temperatures. A few degrees difference in Celsius can be like 8-10 degrees difference in Fahrenheit. So Fahrenheit IS objectively better for more accurate temp readings...
