It's annoying when you're first starting out and haven't amassed a huge hoard of weapons yet. Eventually you realize weapons are everywhere and you're holding on to a million swords that are useless not because they'll break but because you're irrationally scared of using them. All but one of your main party members turn out to be orphans from the same orphanage and they all forgot each other because they've all been using a certain kind of magic in battle. It's mentioned briefly in the beginning that using this magic can cause memory loss, so it isn't exactly out of nowhere, but the revelation doesn't change anything. The dynamics between the characters are almost exactly the same afterwards and it makes no difference to the plot.

I always have to turn off javascript for gamefaqs. If I leave it on, then best case scenario, it crashes my browser. Worst case, it opens a bunch of new tabs to sketchy sites, freezes porn on my screen, and THEN crashes my browser. Actually, the full site tends to fuck over chrome on my laptop, too. I generally don't mind ads and have never used ad blockers, but gamefaqs ads are honestly bullshit.

No More Heroes 2. You play almost the entire game as Travis, but there are two segments where you control characters from the first game. There's a fairly lengthy segment where you're Shinobu and you take out a few bosses and play through some regular levels. When you control the badass Henry, the secret final boss of the first game, however, it only lasts for one fight and it's against a hallucination in a dream. The other bosses he eliminates in the story are killed off camera. The characters all joke about his playability, rubbing salt in the wound and making it clear that it was one big meta joke.

They had the balls, they just didn't have the reason to. Once they started throwing around the idea of a more sympathetic ice queen, the script started to come together and the final result was a great story about familial love with a kickass empowering song.

I 100%ed it, but I also had another player with me through most of the process, so I basically only had to play most stages three times instead of five. Neither of my player 2s could handle Champion's Road though, so I had to do that myself four times and cheated by spawning Mario at the goal flag in my Toad run.
