Right off the bat 10 has a whole bunch of settings that you have to turn off if you want privacy and control.

Some can't be turned off directly and you need to do it via the registry or services.

Then later versions of 10 took away the option to delay updates as long as you want to.

If you let the updates flow as they're intended, they can mess with your system because Microsoft uses its userbase for beta testing. It's just a whole bunch of hassle every time.

In contrast 7 is simple and easy, there's more transparency.

Although the tradeoff is security and performance. For most people though it's like....."nothing's gonna happen, I'm not going to this site or that site, I'm safe".

I agree the updates for Windows 10 are hit and miss, they tend to bring back old bugs or create new ones, but Windows 7 wasn't much better in terms of privacy. You still had to turn a lot of crap off.

what does America have to do with this? is America causing a noticeable spike in violent crime? because i'm pretty sure Malmo doesn't house Sweden's largest American population.

By the way the same nightclub has had two bombings and now this incident. So I guess this club is just really volatile?
