Literally everything about the combat resulted in me assuming I must be doing something wrong, because there's no way that's how that works, but no that's...that's how that works.

good news then, in the last part of the game they take away all your weapons and teammates and combat consists of you running away from enemies and occasionally pressing X to blast them with some magical ring or something

The open world aspect is definitely the biggest nightmare. Just walking around feels terrible.

Well in the last half of the game, walking around is pretty much the only thing you can do, so good luck with that.

Played through day and night stuff, wandering and quests, did all the available hunts, fished, pretty much anything I could try at the time.

Imagine the rest of the game being like that but 90% of the stuff you can do is taken away.

In personal life newz, I'm slowly approaching the incredibly unlikely situation in which I have multiple female options and need to make a decision.

The GFWOB still isn't putting out (like, at all, but I've also stopped trying to escalate), but she IS coming over and making me dinner pretty much whenever I want. What motivation do I have to break up with someone willing to do that, exactly?

I disagree with a lot of that.

But shifting from teams who we aren't sure if they can still be this good... the Pens are currently tied for last in the Metro in terms of points-per-game. Is it possible they'll miss the playoffs? (spoilers, yes, it is, because they were never that good in the first place as SOME PEOPLE have been saying for the last two years)

Because the people arguing in favor of "hate speech" laws don't do that either. These professors are specifically saying offensive speech is unprotected. Which is inherently wrong and always has been. Why do you demand they address an argument that isn't even being made by most people?

Like, the fact that you can think of a better argument in favor of abolishing speech you don't like than these people can is all well and good, but they have no obligation to address your better argument when terrible arguments keep being spouted by people who almost certainly know better.

My best understanding is that top-speed (non-warp) was essentially equal between the two fleets, and there was enough range between them that weapons were basically ineffective. The Empire had to close the distance between themselves and the rebels for their weapons to work, which was only going to happen if they ran out of fuel.

Maul, Grievous, and Phasma are all basically the same character - which is to say that they aren't really "characters" at all - they are badass-looking obstacles placed in the heroes way whose sole purpose is to make the heroes look more badass by defeating them. None of them had anything in terms of backstory, character, or justification in any particular way.
