1. Outside of Toronto the costs go down. I live in the actual city

2. Of course I CAN get cheaper. I never said I was paying for the cheapest place available

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEET/comments/7tx6gx/anyone_else_getting_angrier_and_angrier_as_a_neet/

I've been a NEET for around 3 years now, under the premise that I took some time off so that I could handle school better. That was only supposed to last for a semester but here I am 3 years later, still a NEET. Much like how many NEETs here absolutely dread having to work 40 hours a week, I absolutely dread having to go to school again.

Which brings me to the angry part. I've been a lazy NEET that played vidya all day and couldn't see a way out of things, but I've also had times when I was determined to make a change in my life so I can get out of NEEThood for good (and more importantly avoid having to go back to school).

Ive said before in this subreddit that it is not that I dont want to work, but I want to play a different game, meaning that Im so burnt out of all the bullshit that comes with university that I dont think I can do the normie safe life path of getting an education and then getting an office job anymore.

I understand some of us here would rather settle because aspects of NEET life certainly are comfortable, and that some here on NEETbux have it set for life already. But as for me, I cant simply find comfort in my NEET life because I know that it is unsustainable (my parents are getting older) and I always find myself thinking that I want more, thinking that it cant just end like this for my life.

So instead of settling in thinking I am comfy (which Im not because I take into account that I will need to have an income sooner or later because my parents will not be working forever,)Ive recently been getting more and more angry.

Angry at myself and angry at my current circumstances. I cant even enjoy games because I only have a standard laptop. I dont have any income either to collect anime figures or assemble a proper PC rig and all the things I want to buy. I dont want to lower my standards, and I want more.

No, because doing "whatever they want" consists of doing absolutely nothing. If somebody is content with that lifestyle, more power to them. But holy hell what a pathetic existence.

I feel like a lot of guys on here are making the mistake of going for 9 or 10/10 girls. The optimal range you want to look for is actually more around 4/10. Why?

- You don't have to do or be anything special yourself. You're mediocre, they're mediocre, great

- Can get away with a lot of stuff. Want to ignore her to play video games all week? No problem. She won't complain because it's hard for her to get a new boyfriend

- Extremely easy to cheat on. Like you can basically just do it in the open. She will be very forgiving or willing to overlook this because, hey, she's a 4/10. Just string her along while you look around for something better

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEET/comments/7ta1s4/my_life_as_a_neet/

So in 6 month I'm having my 10 year NEET anniversary and thought you guys might be interested in how I've lived my life. Yes, you heard it right, 10 years of NEETdom while 'only' being 27 years old. I haven't done a single thing since I finished school with 17. Since I was in elementary school I always promised myself to not work a single hour in my life even if I die on the streets. I had my small group of friends in school who basically went nonexistent with ring of the schoolbell every day. Not being interested in any other person still to this day I never talked much to them anyway. The place I loved the most was my own world in my dark basement. I never did what my parents wanted me to do (visiting familiy members, doing house stuff)

Now I'm 27 and still hold my promise from back. I get unemployment money which is not much but more than enough for me to life like this. So all I do everyday is: - playing video games - watching anime - buying anime merch online - living in my own world which I created in my head. My parents get some of my money every month so they just let me be. I've spent thousand of Euros on anime figures, videogames, new computer components, other anime merch. Most of the time I don't even know what date or time it is and I don't really care. I weight 50kg on 175cm, leave the house maybe once every 3 month to do some money related stuff, don't care or enjoy being part of a family. My only friends are the online friends I made while playing video games. I expect to die in my 40s/50s and intend to live like this until then.

tl;dr: hardcore weeb chose NEET life and regrets nothing

I came to understand a separate society, one of white and black.

It is really sad, that it took alcohol that allowed me to understand what this world really is, but I am glad I Finally understand it.

This will never be a world of understanding, a world of equality and of the same experience. The very diversity of humanity is its downfall. We are unique individuals with unique experiences and unique realities, but we have similar enough lives that we can fit into a group. Humanity use this basic experience to allow us to form tribes.

Now, I am in college. We all have vastly different experiences, but it isn't all that different. Black people have black parties, and white people have white parties. Everything in Mcdaniel college is completely separated in racial lives. It leaves me with complete sadness, that we as human beings will never know unity. I think I finally understand the futility of humanity, we are to self absorb. We want to form into groups, one of similar experiences, tastes, and values. Difference leaves to complications, and in our laziness we tend to avoid trying to understand.

This leads to feuds. and we refuse to bridge that gap because of fear, laziness, and an assumption that we already understand the world. This arrogance leads to so much pain, but it is true for everybody.

My message to everybody; give up.

All you will know is pain and suffering.
Everybody will know the errors of Humans, judging them by their failures and inabillity.

Indifference is the key part of any human, and nobody will recognize the greatness in us all.

There are plenty of entry-level jobs out there that dont have anything to do with fast food, but will get you (eventually) to $15/hr.

The company I work for has a factory that starts new hires at $12/hr. They post a very large sign when they need new people - its facing an incredibly busy street at a four-corner stop light.

This is no experience needed work. We still have to hire through a temp-agency, because so few people come in and apply.

Too many people today want things handed to them, rather than even doing the bare minimum to do it for themselves.

ok? shitty jobs still exist, and some people are still forced to choose between working those jobs and starving to death

What does this have to do with anything Ive said?

The concept is simple:

If you want a better job, go out and find one. If you dont want to put in the effort to do so, dont cry about it.

someone still has to do those jobs

Yep, and those will be the guys who don't bother applying themselves to get better jobs. The system works itself out.
