But like every other teacher, if it's not what YOU want to hear, you just fucking ignore it. Fuck you. I kinda feel like Im not getting a full story here There are boat loads of terrible teachers and terrible schools. With 100% certainty I can tell everyone here that probably a quarter of all teachers are only there because they couldn't land their "dream job" and backed up on being a teacher. And they hate it. Oh for sure but something extremely traumatic must have happened to dK for him to hate teachers this much

Maybe my school was just bad, but it always annoyed me how much they felt the need to micromanage what we did. I am sympathetic to teachers, though. My mom works in a school and she tells me what little monsters even elementary school kids can be. Some of those kids are out of control. Like I said, the micromanaging is to make sure we keep the class rolling and smooth without hiccups, TLAC is a good source for knowing why teachers do certain things I dont do what tc does tho I use a positive reinforcement based type of approach because I work extensively with the homeless population

Yes, let kids run the class and not the adult in charge trying to be...the adult in charge. Being the adult in charge doesn't give you the opportunity to shit on your students. This is like at my secondary school. You had the choice of a blazer or a waterproof jacket in the school colours, but teachers would go around giving the students shit for not wearing blazers. Even though the blazer was more expensive and the waterproof was given as a cheaper alternative. It was just as TC said; they were showing the kids who were in charge. It was bullying, plain and simple, but nothing happened because they were fucking teachers and nobody DARES challenge a fucking teacher in this shithole of a country. This is extremely different than what tc is implying dude Patty_Fleur posted... It's not about the hood. I honestly don't care. It's about showing the kids who is in charge. Ooooh. Dude Im not being petty, classroom management is a thing - it is an extensively Studied art. I cant convince you that what I enforce in my class is the proper thing to do cuz most people assume all I do is come up with a lesson and go lecture - thats an invitation to chaos
