Every other major 3D collect-a-thon platformer around the time was better in terms of gameplay and not wasting as much of the player's time. Banjo-Kazooie (and tooie to a lesser extent) are still enjoyable today. Spyro 1+2+3 are still fun. Remember, the only reason they needed the expansion pack was because they fucked up code somewhere and couldn't figure out how to fix it besides just having an expansion pack in the N64. You'll love this - I did some reading on this subject and it's not just a bug, it's a memory leak that would crash the game after a certain time had passed. The Expansion Pak doesn't fix it at all, you can still crash the game if you leave it running for like 10 hours straight or some obscene amount of time. The 4th stage is where I truly knew this game was insulting my intelligence by having me re-visit the same places over and over for little gain. - Learning the same moves over and over again with each Kong is so much fun! - Rare sure does love their annoying full-screen glows and lightning. I have an actual headache from these effects being used every goddamn where. - The game controls like a 32B girl trying to wear a 36DDD bra; it works alright for walking around, but shit starts falling out and going everywhere if you have to jump anywhere, any time. My experience with making videos is that it takes a LOT of time to make something that's worth even half a damn. However, not everyone -needs- to make good quality videos if their audience doesn't care/if making lesser stuff works. If it takes you 20 hours from start to finish to make 1 quality video (writing/recording/editing takes more time than most people know) but someone else can put in far less effort and record 30 minutes of unedited video for the same or more views/time watched, it's sort of heartbreaking. Mostly, people tend to start off on the "hard work" side of the spectrum and slowly slip off to the "laziness" side once their audience either stops noticing, caring, or the initial audience disappears entirely and the new viewers don't care. --- RIP TurboAE86 (19XX-2017) - No amount of Scrotal Googling could find him peace in this mortal world.
