I read in a comments section that the shooters name is Chris Ward, and it started over a domestic dispute. Apparently he killed his family at home, and then went to the church and started shooting.

I most definitely agree it's a cultural issue, but that still doesn't mean it should be easy to get a gun. It's too late for a full blown ban as it will only cause more problems than it would solve, but it's not too late for stricter regulations.
