Yeah that's pretty much all they showed of him. He was actually in season 1 as a cameo during the Atlantean magic school scene.

I remember really being interested in Wonder Girl and wanting to know more about her, especially as a general comic character as I don't know anything about her. She has super strength and flight, and a lasso, which makes her seem pretty powerhousey.

Shinji is probably one of the more realistic characters in anime. Look at most of the dweebs on this website--Do you really think most of them would do stuff differently? Do you think most 15 year olds would suddenly grow a set of iron balls, drop their crippling fears and insecurities about women and themselves, and become a super badass? What world are you living in? My facebook feed is filled every day with 20-something year olds who can barely cope with paying taxes and balancing a checkbook.

Also, being put in a bio-mechnical robot that literally syncs with your brainwaves then being forced to fight other giant terrifying monsters to the death (Either of you, plus humanity) really isn't my idea of a good time. How did we go from the shellshock and dehumanization in the original Gundam and Shinji being an emotional wreck of a human to glorifying giant robots and murder? Then turn around and criticize these legitimate human portrayals as shitty? It's a shame that people only want rad-as-fuck "Protag with a dark past" in these shows when characters like Shinji are a more interesting and gut-wrenching

I think because most of said dweebs watch action-oriented shows as a form of wish fulfillment, watching a show like eva and a character like Shinji who hits a little too close to home makes them hate it.

Also, all those cool fight scenes were lifted out of the non canon movies, so even if you watched the entire show from start to finish you would never even encounter those scenes!

I always wonder why this is never brought up. But the dragon is a very weird opening.

By early 1939, a storyreel had been completed,[7] and by the following May, Disney had several animators in mind for the characters. Vladimir Tytla was considered for the pirates, Norman Ferguson for the dog, Nana, (who also animated Pluto), and Fred Moore for Tinker Bell.[8]

But by the time of production:

His former mentor, Fred Moore, worked in Johnston's unit as a character animator on minor scenes for Smee, as well as animated the mermaids and the Lost Boys. On November 22, 1952, both he and his second wife, Virginia, were injured in an auto accident on Mount Gleason Drive in Los Angeles. Moore died the following day at the St. Joseph's Hospital across from the Disney studios from a cerebral concussion.[24]

This is supposedly by Fred Moore though:

Yeah I had a feeling because I always thought tinker bell's design was... really alluring.

She was Robin as well for a short time, although it seemed even before New 52 it was largely ignored.

yea. but Batman I don't think ever officially acknowledged her as Robin. I remember people being mad about that. she put on the costume and then got herself "killed" and throughout the time she was believed to be dead, Batman refused to put up a memorial for her in the batcave like he did for Jason Todd

Batman TOLD her to be Robin. This was during a time when Tim felt unsure about the role.
Her torture and apparent death came later when she was Spoiler again. And the only reason Batman didn't want a memorial for her was because he knew her death was staged.
Literally nothing in that post was correct

Was it to bait Tim into being robin again or something?

Companies should stop complaining about piracy tbh. They have no right to with all the anti-consumer policies they have like;

Regional blocking
Regional price gouging
DRM
Delayed release dates for certain regions
Day 1 dlc
On disk dlc
Demos arent released often anymore
Short single player campaigns
Etc etc

Until all these issues are fixed (they never will be), companies will never have the right to complain about piracy

That's the thing isn't it, it seems a lot more non USA users will understand this issue especially when it comes to region locking.

Literally my father invited a vegetarian friend to his house and said upon his arrival "I know you don't eat meat, so I got you a chicken."

As a vegetarian, I will never understand how some people don't classify chicken as meat. I can almost understand the fish thing because pescatarians are often misidentified as vegetarians, but a chicken. That's clearly and obviously meat. I'm always polite when these misunderstandings come up, but I'd love to ask them what sort of plant did they pluck that chicken off of.

You don't pluck a fish off a plant either so I wonder why you feel particularly hot and bothered about that particular bit.

Bolded for emphasis. Pescatarians regularly get misidentified as vegetarians. Hell they sometimes misidentify themselves as vegetarians. So I can see how people could have the misconception that vegetarians eat fish. The same does not hold true for chicken.

Regularly though? Besides Ron Swanson on Parks and Rec no one regards fish as being a vegetable, which is in the name of vegetarian.

It seemed to be implied races, since they were treated like second class citizens on Mars as miss m says, and are a homage to similar disparities between different human groups. Also she's Martian manhunter's niece. At first I assumed this was a lie just like Artemis and Green Arrow, but apparently according to weisman she really is his niece or at least related to him.

Don't know much about torrent sites, but I fail to see the appeal of it for anything other than stealing large programs, and they require 3rd party programs to use anyway.

Outside of programs, these days its just easier to stream things. Between higher internet speeds and better video compression systems, if a site were to have some anime or cartoons or movies or something it would be easy to simply stream it. A fair number of pretty good legal sites exist for this even.

If you are using those torrents for non-video purposes and are still noticing it dying down, then you are probably just no longer looking in the right places and should probably start using that Tor dark net stuff and not relying on Google to find it for you.
.

Not everywhere has the same benefits like good internet or full streaming service.

Yeah people on the net need to identify the different between necessary exposition dumps (that are actually kinda fun and cool to listen to like Inception which is necessary to the plot) and painfully obtuse character exposition like a guy telling a girl "we got divorced 2 years ago and how are you today" which was obviously just for the benefit of the audience since the girl would already know that information.
