As someone who grew up in a small rural town and now lives in a reasonably sized city, I would disagree. I think it's along the lines of what @pinky0926 is saying. In a small rural town, you "know" everyone so it appears like everyone is friendly to their neighbors, but anyone who is somewhat abnormal essentially gets ostracized. Whereas where I live in the city now, I barely know any of the people on my block, but I also don't have much animus towards any of them. --- |

And honestly it's been like an epiphany. There's no political kneeling bs. There's bigger plays. There's not the talking heads bemoaning concussion drama. No flags left and right for damn minor everything. It's football. Like, it's real football. Remember when the NFL use to be that? I get about 30 games across a dozen channels from morning to midnight. Literally thinks college football is better to watch. --- |
