Xbox One isn't even really worth it though, last I checked they're only giving out like 60 cash and 85 credit for those. It's really the only reason I even kept mine. --- |

FPS games usually add maps and other things that mix up the variety, but yeah, they still bore me to tears eventually. GTA Online gives you a healthy mix of game modes (car/plane/boat racing, skydiving competitions, deathmatch and associated game modes, etc.), plus instanced PVE content, plus open world PVP content, plus player-created content. There's actually a ton of content bundled up into one game, and there's always something to work towards, so it doesn't really shock me that it's still so popular. It's unpopulated content, though. Like someone else said, all anyone seems to play is whatever is getting 2x bonus for the week. I haven't seen anyone do a skydiving match since last gen, deathmatches are pretty sparce unless it's some dipshit "1000000 RP and Cash" user created deathmatch filled with a bunch of new kids. And races are completely borked because everything is either either a stunt race now, is nothing but super car races, or you have to join some try hard racing crew that always have strict rules and such. All that being said, if you enjoy the game that's fine. I just happen to agree that the game got pretty stale. --- |
