Most of his fans got into his games when they were like in middle/high school so it was like baby's first experience with themes. The problem is that for some reason they never actually took a high level literature course since then so they haven't figure out that most of his themes are very pedestrian at their core. This is the reason why his more simple games (MGS, MGS3) are infinitely more loved by the regular gaming community then his over indulgent shit (MGS2, MGS4, Peace Walker, MGS V) --- |
