This talk about gender discrimination brings up a big discussion about ethics. Arria is insane, but I knew that already. She gets... very heated up, to put it lightly. You can probably tell from her responses to things above that this scene is really pushing all her wrong buttons.

The reason I asked her that question was because I felt the relationship between Eva and Evatrice is similar to that of my friend and the "Arria" persona.

Nanjo making it to the Top 5 because he's a walrus is amazing. He tends to lose even more focus as the episodes go by though, so we'll see. Though he played a big part in EP3 so there's that to look forward to.

Eh, even now that I've played all 8 Episodes it's pretty hard to justify putting any of them too far over the others. Mammon might have some advantage since she's Ange's best friend, Lucifer plays the bullied older sister/leader part well and I like Belphegor's attitude, but that's about it. The rest can go in any order.

This is pretty solid place to start. Kinzo theory was pretty popular early on, IIRC? There's definitely merit there. He can definitely tell Genji to do whatever he wants, then the other servants to slightly lesser extent, and tell Arria that if Kinzo were the culprit he could make up any autopsy report and tape it to Nanjo's back since he's just an oblivious walrus.

Same, Bern annoyed me more back then since I don't really like stoic characters. Aand I might or might not have forgotten how it felt to know 34 like back then. The core arc really developed her image in a specific manner.

We also talk about how silly it would be in reality if these servants were still dressed in these fancy uniforms. I mean, Gohda is just making soup for the other servants and he’s dressed in a tuxedo. Arria then suggests he has a closet full of white chef’s outfits that he uses when the conference isn’t going on.

This is one of the great things about the manga. More casual outfits for everyone!

The first I heard the characters' names are actually from the fighting games, and yeah it's noticeable the slightly odd way they pronounce Jessica. What caught me off guard the most was Ange though. It was like ehn-jeh.

I agree with your list for the most part, Raka. I think Kyrie is more competent/intelligent than Rudolf or Krauss. Under normal circumstances, I'd say she's disadvantaged by not being Kinzo's child and not knowing all his quirks/past. But since you said this is with all requisite information, I'll say she loses that disadvantage.

Also, I think you need an "intellectual rapist" tier with just Erika. :P

Yeah, it is very likely she has autism. Though the issue itself is never brought up by name, maybe because the awareness in Japan in the 80s was still low.

Has either of you played the Ace Attorney series? A lot of people have pointed out the similarities between it and Umineko. But yeah, Battler is typically seen as rather simple and boisterous. Not sure if the VN has mentioned his love of detective novels yet, but it foreshadows the intelligence he had.
