Step 1: Normal 10+1 (3%)
Step 2: 1.5x 10+1 (4.5%)
Step 3: 10 normal (3%) + 1 guaranteed rainbow
Step 4: 2x 10+1 (6%)
Step 5: 3x 10 summons (9%) and 1 guaranteed banner rainbow

15k = guaranteed 5*
25k = guaranteed on banner 5* and a 9% chance to rainbow on the rest.

those are thresholds to look at for upcoming months when it comes to lapis.

it's pretty good, especially if you can stack it with first time buyer. that basically 35% ($65) for the $100 coin bundle (10,000 coins) -> 25% off this (3725 coins)...

8500 lapis for $24.21~ + whatever EX rewards you need to unlock.
and you can repeatedly do this bundle too.

for comparison's sake, crystal chest of dreams was $75, had 15k lapis + 10 tickets + 2 4* + 30 pots of 10 EN

here you can get a flat 17k lapis for <$50. you could technically spend the extra $12 or so to round it out at 25,550 but you'd then have spent a higher but relatively close amount. otherwise you can just ask whether 10 tickets and 2 4* tickets are worth $25 as that's the main difference.

apart from the other big difference which is that you at least can pick up to what level you want to spend here.
i think the 25k barrier is important for step ups later on? though i don't know that mechanic well, just that it's basically "fine, you get your guaranteed 5 if you keep 10 pulling."

also bloodstained is pretty good so far. the demo they've had for cons is really good with excellent jumping, as opposed to the floatiness the initial demo had. attacks could be a bit faster but it's quite solid. the music so far is great too.

mighty no 9 was very mediocre.

even a weaker DW Fry (700-800 MAG) tends to be better than a well built Aileen simply because hybrid damage doesn't care for evasion and by using the MAG stat, relies on the enemy's SPR, which for most of the game's content is weaker than DEF.

A2 and maybe enhanced Orlandeau are beyond her outside of extreme cases.

you're basically spending extra for 4* tickets in it, yes.
but that has its own good value to it if you're chasing any Golds.

or rainbows, since 4* tickets are 5% chance instead of 3%.

Rem's upgrades, outside of her boomerang, are super easy to do.

considering she's very easily fielding 400+ SPR her boosted Curaga can do a good 3-4k.

edit:
okay, the free units you summon in the raid have multiple TMRs made for her.
like... yeah, if you're missing another source of DW/want to use it elsewhere, the dagger is a decent replacement. it's a significant hit if you're Dark Bond/Equip Rod but it's a hit to her for a buff on another mage.

if you do that though/if you lack Dark Bond... Cat Costume is something else on her. +20% MAG and SPR means that it's almost as good as Siren's Robe on her. you can effectively budget build her into 800-900 MAG and 500-600 SPR with 5k HP.

she's very different than the Japanese version. in Japan she got elemental spells enhanced, Undying Wish's buffs, and half of Sharp Resolution. the +2 version is what the +1 version we're getting looks like. our +2 version doesn't exist there (high boost to MAG and SPR, another HP boost).

we got boosts to Raise and Curaga. if it's anything like Garnet, she'll have almost a full life Raise on her and a really strong but not Curaja strong spell.

last but not least, Dagger Boomerang is GL exclusive.
she's totally looking to be at the top of best finishers of the game again.

Garland is legitimately really good with the TMR. he, like Olive, is another guy with inherent Doublehand. with enhancements it's an innate 125%, meaning that if you throw in one of these TMRs and Bartz' you'll hit 275/300%. i assume Olive's will at least be the same so she should easily hit the cap when she gets her turn but for now, Sparky Olive is the same thing.

he's probably the best 3* damage dealer right now, or should be as far as potential goes considering he can also Imperial Dark elemental damage by 80% too. him, DKC, Dark Veritas, and Delita all have a really good darkness game going on right now.

Olive can now wield it. (But in the process lose her DH bonuses.)

And in other news Olive can now break 1600 attack. :D

the machine gun does ruin her natural DH unfortunately. Sparky still seems to be the better overall build unless you're a massive whale. the (T)DH cap is 300% too so between her 75% natural DH and Sparky's 50% DH, you're "just" needing 175% more. if you throw in Bartz' TMR (50%) and one of the 5* TMRs on this banner, you're at 275 - pretty damn close.

whenever Olive gets enhancements that should push her over. seems obvious that if anything's getting touched up it'll be her DH stuff.

and this is of course ignoring that Sparky is Lightning damage, whereas Machine Gun+ has no element. i mean yeah she can imbue fire on herself but it's less setup necessary for damage, especially after the last banner had the lightning great sword to go with it elemental bonuses. for now it just looks like she's once again just shy of making the top tier conversations, though at the same time that means she's continued to stay relevant in the meta for that long.

I technically did pull Trance Terra and I can now do double Ultima +2 chains with Dark Fina.

That said William has Quake.
Elemental chain + 6* + DC spell + earth imperial should put beyond both you mentioned. It's Earth element Tornado on a 6* max unit.

Aileen enhancements when so I can 75% imperial that too.

you forgot a few more pros for Zarg:

1) his bulk. it is stupidly easy to have him with 6k HP without even trying. the bonuses he gets with certain weapons and certain elements is hard to maximize but you don't want to do that all the time; instead if you're focused on support, just get him a holy weapon and enjoy. a support unit who easily hits 6k HP, 3k DEF, and 200 SPR is pretty rare.

2) on top of all that he has an auto-survive skill that keeps him alive, guaranteed, if he had over 10% of HP.

3) on top of that he has 20% evasion, for both physical and magic.

the guy is a support unit who just doesn't die. countless times i've depended on him out there.

her best setup is still likely dagger + rod, especially if you've dark fina's TMR.
switching her to that dagger will mean:

1) she's dealing dark damage
2) she's technically weaker because the rod bonuses are better than +30% MAG setups. i'm not sure what +40%+ MAG exists that doesn't need rods, apart from Adventurer V.

but if you've got Dark Veritas, Delita/his TMR, or Dark Knight Cecil, even though she's technically weaker she'll chain with them/take advantage of the dark imperial.

got to 10 boxes, cleared everything i really wanted, got the CE to drop once, still have a good 40 golden apples. it seemed painful to grind through all of them, i'm not sure what the point of that much struggle is. like yeah the goodies are nice but it's just draining.
