Troops don't fight for our freedom. If anything, we have lost several freedoms since the war on terror began. So they either suck at their jobs, or they were never fighting for our freedom in the first place.

Soldiers and the military in general are also just as much a drain on tax revenue as welfare recipients, so one could also argue that they should thank me for paying their salaries, instead of me thanking them for their 'service'.

To be fair, a lot of the loss of freedoms is occurring because we vote for it.

Nicotine isnt actually bad for you (at least to the degree of smoking tobacco). Its just a stimulant, in the vein of caffeine. However burning and inhaling tobacco as a delivery system is carcinogenic, as what it brings with the nicotine is highly toxic.

E-cigs are positioned as a delivery system that doesnt need burning material to release nicotine but I have heard it can lead to popcorn lung if you overdo it.
