Obviously even in the original Japanese version he is kind of hard to get, but still not as a mess he was in the English version

It's pretty long, so two points I found the most interesting-

One of the first and most important points about Oumas motive video, mentioned almost right off the bat, is that Ouma and DICE strictly forbade murder. It was one of their two most important mottos as a group, the other being to commit fun, laughable pranks. His video is explicit about the fact that he and DICE as a whole didnt condone murder. And yet, incredibly enough, this line was removed entirely from his motive video in the localization.

The explanation Ouma gives in his flashback with Momota is, quite literally, that he hates the killing game because of how many lives it took. He reveals that it was all a lie he had to tell himself in order to survive, but the crux of why he hated it so much was that he was horrified by the sheer loss of life. He specifically says, The verb (also written ) means to kill, to do someone in, etc. So what he says, quite literally, is this: As if theres any fun in a game that kills people like this A more natural-sounding translation would be something like, As if a game that takes peoples lives like this could ever be fun.

The localized line, however, drops the ball entirely. It was translated as follows: H-How could a game that youre forced to play be fun? This completely changes well, everything about Oumas last words, his motivation, and his entire character. Rather than hating and detesting the game because of the number of lives it took, and because he himself is morally opposed to murder, it makes it sound as though he would be absolutely fine with the killing game (and with killing in general) if only the participation wasnt forced.

All her talk about her island, Atua, etc..and I just..couldn't care about this at all
Not because it's Angie or because it isn't interesting, but because I know it isn't "real"

Now of course, Danganronpa being fiction means it isn't real to begin with, but when it's a "fiction inside a fiction" it's harder to care about it even more
It's kinda like "oh the whole movie you saw? didn't happen, it was just a dream of the main character"

My other comments are that the conversation with Samuel might actually be one of the worst moments in the series. He was so bad. Original Samuel was weird but harmless, this guy was legitimately frightening and at times his dialogue verged into Yoda territory. The new writers wrote every other returning character so faithfully, Samuel was awful and jarring. I was glad that conversation was short

Hmmmm liked the first episode a lot more, this one was kinda boring tbh?

I dunno it felt like the first episode was much crazier and this one was pretty tame
Plus while I guess people love the "moving around and interacting with stuff" gameplay I feel like this episode had much more of that than other LiS episodes

Anyway ending spoilers-
Was fine, that twist about Rachel mother was interesting, and Sera having a butterfly tattoo and stuff
I kind of expected her to get mad and make the candles light their own house on fire and say she caused the forest fire, I know it's kinda unlikely to burn a house down so fast from just candles but hey she got super powers
The play was nice, the kiss was about damn time, the rest was whatever

Three episodes are just not enough

Do not buy Lexmark either
I have yet to hear this happens in HP but -
Lexmark cartridges used to (or still) have a chip that count down the estimated number of pages remaining to print, instead of actually checking how much ink remains
So it might stop printing and say you are out of ink even though you are don't
If you hid this particular chip, the printer will continue printing normally (and won't stop even if it's out of ink, it will just print blank pages)
