so i bought something on my Chase Sapphire Reserve. it didn't fit (it was a replacement watch band) so i figured id try to get my money back. a lot of times, they'll just say keep it and heres your money back.

but they didn't. they refunded me the money and asked for it back (its 7 bucks). they said they'd charge me again if they didn't get it. so i was like whatever and ignored it.

yesterday, they charged me again, on my freaking American Express Premier Rewards Gold card.

why!? its not even set as my default card! my Discover card is! do they just throw a dart at the wall with my cards on them and go uh THAT ONE

i got my points from the Chase Sapphire Reserve. i earn 3 points per dollar on travel and dining

i also got my points from the chase freedom unlimited. i earn 1.5x points per dollar on everything

i also got it from the chase ink preferred. i earn 3 points per dollar on my rent payment, utilities, internet, and phone bill.

in total i had 11k points after about a month of spend. on the chase portal, i get a 1.5x redemption rate (meaninng 1.5 cents per point) and my 11k points knocked 160something dollars off my price. so i paid the final 20 and boom. easy booking.

so long story short, my boss is trying to start a new program at a new school. he's never done it before and its going terribly (its almost mid november and we haven't started).

now, the person in charge of our other school quit. meaning my boss will have to take her place while we look for a new one.

he also said that if we dont get the new program off the ground and running, we may lose funding for it completely.

so do i quit and say yall fucked up
or do i stay and hope for the best.

my favorite time in the game was cata (pre-firelands).

i think it was a combination of how difficult the game was, coupled with the insane amount of time i had to dedicate to the game.

i remember being in full heroic gears, with a couple epics on my druid.yelling out into orgimmar "IM TANKING GAMON, HEAL ME! HEAL ME! HEAL ME! HEAL ME!" popping all my defense abilities and kiting him out into the main orgimmar area, with everyone there slowly joining in on dps and healing me. good times.

so i dont remember if folks remember my posts about my job being a mess, but it has been a mess since january. then, our director got forced out of her position by people higher up in the organization, and she was replaced by 3 croonies for the upper management. that led to our staff trying to meet to discuss who should get the new director position, only for them to be suspended for doing so. then they all quit. then they fired our office manager, claiming she tried to steal computer equipment (i knew, but they explained to staff that they gave her the "gift" of leaving early). then they got a new site coordinator for our after school program who apparently, is the worst.

anyway she's quitting. my boss sees all the problems and is trying to fix it, but he's now in charge of 3 programs and is losing hold of his life. he's also trying to get our new directors, one of the croonies, fired or transfered, and i have a feeling that will go badly.

in the meantime, i was promised that i could be a site coordinator for a new school we're doing programs with. but sadly, its mired in political nonsense and we may lose it like we did our old school. (our director promised that school things, and then reneged on them)

my boss explained that this is the last year of funding, and if we can't show that we've done anything this year, we won't get funding for this in the future. meaning ill be out of a job.

what can i do? do i stick with this nonsense organization and hope we can meet expectations, or do i get out and let it burn to the ground?

we've had the card since april. applied for an increase and they said they only do them every 6 months.

4+6=10. okay ill try in october... but to play it save ill try in november.

im going to be traveling a lot more in the future, so i want to take great pictures but dont want to be trying to balance my phone in my hand and worrying about draining its battery, space, etc. so i figure id get a regular digital camera
