Definitely true. Although I am more surprised all but one of the shows is moving evenings and still no overlap. (No idea which shows are on the same channels, so idea which can and cannot be broadcast at the same time...)

Out of the ones you listed, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Modern Family are on the same channel (ABC).

Gotham is on Fox, and BBT is on CBS.

I used to years ago. 8-bit theater, Sore Thumbs, xkcd, and VG Catz. Haven't read any in a while though.

Romantically Apocalyptic always blew me away with it's style. It's a lot of real images and actors photoshopped and digitally painted over. Very amazing art. The story can get pretty confusing. I think it's still ongoing (takes a long time for new chapters)

I actually have the physical release of that (the first book anyways). I met the author at a convention, talked to him for a bit, and ended up buying it. Didn't even realize it was a web comic until I read through it and noticed the URL at the end. I will say it is a lot easier to understand the "plot" when you read it as a book.

It is a good exercise to help understand both points of views so that you can make informed choices rather then just labeling everyone who disagrees with you and validating their bigotry.

That said, 5th grade might be a bit to early to be doing that. It didn't happen for me until I was a Junior in High School.

How does anyone have a dog alone? It just seems like so much work having something living dependent on you. Food, water, making sure it doesn't seem sick, vets, grooming, training, walking... making sure you never leave it home alone too long. Dogs are so cool but how can anyone handle all that by themselves with a full time job?

Feed twice a day, change the water once a day (more during the summer since they get thirsty), pay attention to changes in their behavior, take them to the vet twice a year, bath and nail trim once every 3 months, training only applies to the first 6 months you have them, walk them once a day (more if you don't have a fenced in yard). Not all that difficult.

Granted I have a Greyhound which basically is an overgrown cat as far as mood. Something like a Dalmatian or a Husky I could understand having problems with, since they want to play CONSTANTLY.

They don't want you playing your old games. It costs them money to include that and it causes people to spend less time on new games.

I don't like it either, but you can't expect them not to want to make money and keep their current platform and games strengthened. I always thought backwards compatibility players were a small percentage, but maybe even they are too much for Sony. Also, they don't want you playing your old games. Please buy them again. After all, the producers have been increasingly conning the consumers in their favor since 2006 in video games. Why stop now? There's no one to expose them. Even then you'd have to provide an incentive for them not to want more money.

But look at all the money Nintendo makes from the virtual console. I'm not saying it needs to be "play 100% of your old disks" compatible, but they are literally throwing money away by not having a huge set of PS1/2/3 games on PSN for people to buy.

Hell, the only reason my PS3 is still plugged in is because it is an awesome PS1.

Seoul is already targeted with enormous amounts of conventional artillery that would level the city in a second.

My coworker and I briefly talked about this. He said we just recently sent in a bunch of new equipment to augment South Korea's defense. I wasn't sure if he meant the THAAD weapon system or something else but when I asked if said defenses can stop artillery shells he said yes.

I'm not that savvy when it comes to military weapons but conventional artillery are just explosive shells, aren't they? What would actually intercept a slug of metal loaded with explosives?

There are lasers and rail guns which can do it. Problem is that if they decide to do an "all out" attack then they aren't going to be able to shoot them all down. They are really only designed to take them out one at a time.

The Rocketeer game for NES (which James and Mike started playing today) I thought was pretty fun. It is actually not that difficult as long as you only use the rocket pack at certain times. The SNES version of that game is HORRIBLE though, avoid at all costs.

I also owned Batman as a kid, which is probably the best movie game I ever played. Never beat it (without Game Gene) though, always got stuck on the last level.

I remember a lot of people complaining when Jerry decided to end the show, but looking back I think it was the right decision. 1997 - 2000. Basically my parents were divorcing, I was in high school, and I kept getting called into the counselors office because the school was convinced I was going to bring in a gun and shoot everyone.

Once the summer of my senior year hit though, everything was awesome. I got a car, my dad was working 2 jobs (and therefore never home), and I was graduating. I basically got to spend all year with friends and/or girls over and skipping a day or two with my parents not even knowing.

If they do a Metroid movie, they should just have the actress in the armor the entire movie, and she only takes it off after the ending credits. Then and only then do you know who actually played Samus in the movie. Don't even have her name in the ending credits or promotional material.

Granted it wouldn't be as shocking in the Internet age, but they should at least make it like how it happens in a proper Metroid game, you don't see Samus until after the credits are done.

As for the question at hand, yellow. Samus isn't orange unless she is wearing the Varia suit.
