i kinda think E/T/M ratings in gaming is a bit broad. like honestly most M rated games really can pass for teen games. like Halo isn't super violent at all. The worst is the boring space mutants, but that's also the worst part of the games anyway. so really its a guideline. if you trust your kid to be able to understand that wars happen and people die, then call of duty isn't a big deal. the actual good parenting tactic is to remove their headsets!

Which goes to say to make Sheena just as good as like a base Chrom/Lissa you gotta:

1) Pull a new Xmas unit
2) kill off said Xmas unit for the vengeful/brazen ability of your liking and hope it fits into the build you came up with ~2 weeks ago (so if you run DC, you'd need the B skill from tharja or robin. so if you have your A skill tied, then i guess you go back to step 1)
3) merge the fucker to +5 or higher
4) give them slaying weapon+ and enhance it

nah not talking about point valuation or anything (i think arena score is dumb and im content staying 16/17/18 depending on how much i wanna play arena).

im just talking unit effectiveness. like KP was talking about a Sheena project. I imagine you'd need to like...get her to at least 5*+5 for Sheena to be even like remotely close to as good as Winter Chrom/Lissa with zero merges. And this isnt even accounting for their innate, super strong skills (vengeful/brazen shit)

i think tharja's base artwork is really good. having not really played awakening i never actually recruited her, but she looks so...weird in awakening. she looks borderline constipated i feel. christmas tharja's face is just off to me. dont really care about her wearing a bikini or being an armor and wearing a bikini she just looks dumb. glad i didnt pull her.

anyway went from like ~103 stockpiled orbs (plus clearing the normal maps so i guess like 105/106) and down to 35 netted me:

lissa on first 5 pull (so 15 effectively spent, since free summon and shit)

15 pulls got me robin (on the 14th of 15)

i think i am content with both units. finally got an armor march unit. i think robin was my ideal pull since i havent gotten armor march yet (this is totally going to be turned into an sacred seal soon imo) and i dont really have an lance armor. i have effie but i dont really like her, so i wont use her.

also my girlfriend who absolutely abhors tharja's sexualization...pulled her. after saying she wouldnt pull red orbs. probably hit her on 3% or something. found that amusing at least.

Tharja's stat line is lower by the amount ranged units are always lower by (~10 points), and ranged units are generally considered better despite this. Her stat line is fine for an armour; she dumps speed but that's very workable.

well yeah but i dunno she feels like the worst of the bunch simply because the 3 new armor units that are melee at 5*+0 are better than any 5*+4 I assume at this point with the exception of maybe BK/Arden who are max 5*+2 currently

i mean shes a fine unit but in terms of "best units" i'd take the powercrept robin with a tree and lissa with a gigantic bell i think.

i could also be completely wrong about everything. i typically just read winning strategies and stuff unlike a very cool good guy Logan "Lopen" Penn (also KP) who goes off the beaten path with wacky Mathhew 5*+10's and Serra +10's and Felicia+10's where I am a pleb whose highest 'favorite' character is an Eirika+3 or whatever
