Which in retrospect is also kinda funny because Soras keyblade isnt even really regarded as being anything special. The Kingdom Key D, No Name, and Masters Defender are more regarded for their uniqueness.

Well, right, that's partially what I mean. It doesn't ever really imply Sora's Keyblade is THE keyblade, or particularly unique or special. It's just that keyblades, themselves, have special innate properties, over, say, random swords/etc., like what Leon has, for example.

Even then, we have all this talk about "The Keyblade" throughout the game

I don't think it ever implies the "keyblade" is a single, solitary weapon. Just that it's a particularly special/important weapon.

I'll always maintain that KH's plot isn't actually all that complicated at all, if you can handle "CLONES!" and etc. from other series that have already been mentioned.

The main issue was how inaccessible the story used to be. Because it took place over so many games on so many systems, you HAD to have them all to complete the story. Now you don't. They've wisened up and included the whole story within like, two games, and now it's very easy to see it's not actually all that convoluted.

Personally, I had more kids hit my house than previous years. I started to get bored and cold sitting outside, since I was used to sitting outside for like, 30 minutes and getting nobody and just calling it, so I started giving extra pieces to kids who put more effort into their costumes, and even started handing candy to adults who were accompanying kids, just so I could run out and go inside.

It should be up to Republicans to remove him not Democrats.

It is, to be fair. I believe that even if all 31 Democrats had voted to remove him, it still would have failed, since it wouldn't have been 2/3rds. Blaming Democrats for this is just more right wing rhetoric.

I respect this, to an extent, since if they vote to remove before a conviction, it sets a dangerous example that Republicans can follow.

This is assuming, of course, that if the investigation results in a conviction, they immediately vote to expel him.

I think the primary issue is, while these bugs definitely exist, a majority of people don't ever witness them. Or, if they do, do so in bearable amounts.

That's why people keep buying Pokemon games. It's not out of "brand loyalty" or anything, we've seen how quickly casuals will turn on a franchise. It's that... They get what they want out of the game, which is catching/battling Pokemon, and if they do witness bugs, for the majority, they're not gamebreaking.

Like, I'll be honest. I know the games crash, I don't doubt that. That said, I played through Scarlet, in its entirety, without a single crash. I haven't played the DLC, so maybe I'll get one there, who knows.

The best part of the Pokemon DLC is, if you don't care about the new areas or story, you don't have to buy the DLC. You can just trade/transfer the Pokemon in, like always.

To be fair about the enemy names, I don't think they changed them on a whim. They changed them only because they were improperly localized to begin with. For example, Yaridovich was always meant to be something closer to "Speardovich," to fit in with the idea of... All of Smithy's gang are named after weapons that the audience understands. Likewise, there were some enemies that were just straight up named incorrectly, such as Beezos. They were named "Shy Aways" in SMRPG, but... They already existed, and have been called Beezos since Mario 2.

I feel like they were mostly looking to fix things like that.

You could play through Gen 1 without ever noticing most bugs unless you already knew they were there. Can't speak either way for recent gens first hand, but from what I've heard it's things you notice just while trying to play normally. Huge difference.

To be fair, the fact you didn't notice them, to me, made some of them worse.

For example, a crash is a crash, yes, but a lot of games crash, and it's fairly commonplace.

In Gen 1, though, for example, you had moves that were supposed to raise your stats, but they actually LOWERED your stats... And you didn't even know it. You just assumed the Pokemon you were fighting was exceptionally tough, or that moves like Wrap were MEANT to be infinite, and so on.

This could just be "Older StealThisSheen" speaking, but nowadays, I'm more willing to accept a crash happening, since... As much as it sucks and shouldn't, these things happen in a lot of games, vs. me changing my strategy because a certain move appears to be working a certain way... Only to find out, years later... No, it was a bug, and I, basically, learned bad habits, based on that bug.

Gen 9 absolutely is buggy. So was Gen 1, but at least the majority of game-breaking bugs could not be found during regular play. In S/V, you're liable for the game to crash just by walking into the desert.

To be honest, I'd take the occasional crash over some Gen 1 things that weren't bugs, such as limited item space, having to change PC boxes or else you literally couldn't catch a Pokemon, and so on.

Also, there will be no greater bug to me in anything than stuff like Wrap being infinite in Gen 1. Which is an annoyance, in hindsight, but oh boy did it make me mad, just via the sheer number of trainers who had things that could Wrap you in scenarios you absolutely did not want it to happen, like Rock Tunnel.

As an adult, I easily know how to handle it. But as a kid... Oh geez.

I don't have a chance to watch the video until later, but does it show any of the dialogue that makes references to things? That's what I'm most curious about. I figured most of the rest of the dialogue would stay the same, but I mainly wonder if they'll change/update the references in any way. Like Para said, I'm curious about stuff like the Psychopath dialogue, or if Mario still thinks he's Bruce Lee, stuff like that.

I never understood how to say "Yaridovich" as a kid, anyway, and I had no idea what it meant or why he wasn't named after weapons like the others.

The funny thing is that it likely was supposed to be Speardovich all along, since all of the other languages are basically that, and the NA localizer just screwed up.
