Gas is more money but so much better

If I have to have anything done that requires needle at all, I get gas. Hell, I got gas about a year ago for a deep cleaning, and, since then, they've weaned me off of it for normal cleanings (since I had a deep cleaning, my cleanings have gotten less intensive since). Now, I can easily get a regular cleaning with no gas, but if I need any needle and/or serious work done... Screw it, I pay the $50/hr for the gas.

Yeah, it definitely takes a little while to get used to, but you do.

Similarly, I have a crown on one of my back molars, and it felt like a foreign entity literally for days. I had to remind myself not to tongue at it. After a few days, though, it feels like any other tooth.

Don't do anything that causes suction or a similar quality. Don't use straws, don't smoke, don't spit if you can help it, things like that. The whole point is that you want to keep the scab/clot in place. Dry socket can occur if the scab/clot dislodges. The first 24-48 hours are especially crucial, here.

For people that do love the moving 2D graphics, I do highly recommend Nexomon. It is a, legitimately, very pretty game. It's a clear Pokemon clone, and thus it falls into all of the "Pokemon lite" traps, but it and its sequal (Nexomon Extinction) are just fun times to be had, if you like the 2D style, especially for the price.

The more I think about it, the more I realize I wouldn't have liked Pokemon staying in 2D. If you stick with 2D sprites for battles, no matter how well drawn/animated, you have to stick with 2D overworld, too. And that means sticking with random battles. Even Nexomon doesn't do the "you can see the ___mon on the overworld" because it'd just look odd being on a 2D plain. The games that do have the mons on the overworld, like Cassette Beasts, purposely stuck with the more pixelated aesthetic overall, to make it look better, and I don't like the pixelated aesthetic.

I liked the moving sprites at the time, but now they just look ugly to me, since they're so pixelated.

If they were like Nexomon, I'd like it more. Granted, I get why they couldn't be Nexomon quality, due to platform limitations. I'm just not sure I trust that they would have ever reached that level of quality, so I prefer the 3D models.

If the answer is no, then it is not worth it

All of them, no. A lot of them, yes. And you don't have to buy the DLC to get them, so it doesn't have to be worth it, you can trade/transfer the Pokemon in, regardless. The DLC is literally only for the additional story content. If you don't want that, don't buy it, because you don't need it to get the Pokemon.

Honestly, if anything, this is how DLC SHOULD be done. Do you want the new story content? No? Then don't buy it. You can just trade/transfer in the returning Pokemon that they added back, just like the old games.

Don't sleep with them. Just use them up until you go to sleep, if it's actively bleeding.

If you went through all of the ones the dentist gave you and they all seeped with blood/the bleeding didn't really slow, then I'd potentially buy some more, yes. You'd be the best judge. If it feels like the bleeding has slowed, and it's more just... Oozing, then you probably don't need to buy any. Wounds like that will "ooze" for awhile, but it's not necessary to have gauze, at that point. Just rinse with salt water like, twice a day, to keep it clean.

EDIT: But don't rinse with salt water until after 24 hours, unless they told you otherwise.

I don't think caring about enemy names a little bit is weird at all. If you're like, super upset about it, than sure, but if it's just an "Aww, I liked the old one," or, "Ooh, the new one is nice," it's just... Whatever? Especially when dealing with nostalgia. That applies to pretty much anything, you get used to something being named a certain way. It's like if you grew up with your local supermarket being Super Duper for most of your life, and it's now a Smith's or Kroger or Albertson's or whatever... It's pretty natural to "It's still Super Duper to me."

That pressure was something else, If I weren't already used to things like that due to various other medical issues throughout my life I'd of freaked out. I wish I could have asked to see my former teeth but I was kind of mentally exhausted from doing 3 at once . I still don't know if I'm just gonna go through life missing 3 teeth or if I'll get replacement ones. You guys got any thoughts on that?

Oh geez, the pressure can be rough if you aren't used to it, because you literally feel them tugging on the tooth, or breaking it, or so on. I was glad I already had the gas to get over my needle anxiety, because I think the pressure may have bothered me a lot more otherwise.

I'm missing three teeth, but they're all back teeth. A back molar and a wisdom tooth on one side, and a back molar on the other side. Having the latter molar removed allowed the wisdom tooth room to come in, so while there's a bit of a gap between it and the tooth ahead of it, it just kinda... Worked out.

Since they're in the back, I never bothered even thinking about replacing them, since I have no trouble eating or anything.

This. They always (or should always) do the needle for removing a tooth or any other major work. The gas just calms you, and has very minor numbing qualities. I hate needles, so I get the gas specifically to make the needle bearable to me, and then so the sound/pressure feeling of work being done no longer bothers me.

I think it does not matter how trustworthy Eckhart is. I think what matters is a company must guarantee your safety and not put you in a position where you must trust coworkers.

The fact is that most of us routinely trust the people we work with because we have no choice.

It doesn't sound like they're actually suing over that part. The part they appear to be suing about is where they basically suggest she more or less held the movie up for ransom by refusing to sign things to allow them to release the film unless they paid her more money.

Who knows how true or not that is, we only know one side of the story.

What's interesting is that the production company is openly saying they conducted an investigation and found the claims to be unfounded, which, since they're the ones suing, opens them up to further scrutiny. Which means they're either very confident in their own findings, or they're complete idiots.

Its along the lines of what I recall from their end of services announcement and here say. The original plan was just to open the beta for a while, build hype and sell dlc. Then close it and rerelease the complete game a year later.

But they kept the beta open likely due to the insane player count at its peak and revenues gained. Which was a mistake in my opinion, and should have ended as soon as the player count started to nosedive.

That and the game was fundamentally broken and needed a lot more then a few patchs to fix.

Fair enough. I do recall their end of services announcement saying they intended it to be a limited beta, but I also remember people feeling kinda blindsided, since they never really indicated there would be an "end" prior, and, usually, when something is openly charging you money for things, there is no real "end," prior to release. But they did decide to end it, and effectively screwed some people over, in the process.

Poor decisions, all around.

It was an open beta, but was there actually any indication that they intended to take it down, at all? Most open betas, nowadays, don't get taken down. They just kinda stay up until they transition to "gold" status. For example, compare it to things like Disney Speedstorm and Dreamlight Valley, which also came out as a betas, but just stayed active until the full release. Granted, I haven't taken part in many such "open betas," but I remember Tem-tem doing something similar, way back when, so based on my own personal experiences, I haven't seen many games actually just... Stop existing, for awhile, between open beta and actual release. Especially not ones that charged you money for things during the beta.

It's not conclusive, but KH1 sure made it sound like it was a unique thing. "The Keyblade chooses its master. And it chose you!" It definitely felt like a Master Sword situation. Idk if the Japanese version sounded less decisive, but the way Leon & co talked about it in English sounded like it was the one and only Keyblade.

This may be an agree to disagree situation, since I never really felt this. I just felt like it was saying THAT Keyblade chose Sora, not like it was the "only" Keyblade. And those feelings proved to be correct later in the game, when other Keyblades were revealed.

Like, I feel like it's implied fairly early on, via Mickey, that there are multiple Keyblades. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, I don't know.
