A few ground rules:
-If I have you blocked you aren't allowed to participate (Note: I don't have anyone blocked)
-Please say which level you are on when you post your pick. In most cases it will be obvious, but this makes it easier for me to record the picks.
-The deadline to make a pick is before the official kick-off time of the game in question. You cannot pick a game that has already started. Some levels may have different deadlines, so read carefully.
-The deadline to answer the bonus question is at the start of games on Sunday (1 PM ET).
-Please don't edit your picks. If you'd like to change, please do so in a clearly labeled new post.
-I get my spreads from an online site providing lines from several sources, both in Vegas and out. Although these sources may continue to change their lines throughout the week, the ones I post in the topic are frozen and final for our purposes.
-You may use bonus points to skip any level after it is guaranteed you cannot pass it (at the end of the week's games, typically). You may only skip the level before I have posted the next week's topic. The price for skipping is in proportion to the level you are skipping. Skipping level 1 would take 1 bonus point, level 2 will take 2, level 5 will take 5. So on and so forth.

Explanation of Levels:

Level 1: Pick a winner. Simply pick one team to win their game. If they win, you go on to level 2.

Level 2: Pick an Underdog to win. You must pick a team that is an underdog to win their game. Underdogs will always be the team listed second.

Level 3: Level 3: 2 Games with Spread. Using the spreads I provide, pick 2 games. You must get both correct to move on. Spreads work by giving (-) or getting (+) points. The team that is the favorite to win "gives" points to the underdog. If you choose the favorite to win, they must still win after "giving" those points to the underdog. If you choose the underdog, you would be correct if they win the game after "getting" those points. For example, if a game says "Giants (-2.5) vs. Cowboys," if you pick the Giants, they must actually win the game by at least three points; if you pick the Cowboys, you would win if they actually won the game or lost by two points or less.

Level 4: 2 Game differentials. Pick two games and specify them to have a score differential of either 10+ or 5-. Make sure to specify which you pick, if you pick a score to be 10+ and the score ends up 3 apart, you do not advance. You do not need to pick the winner, as long as the differential is correct, it does not matter which team wins.

Played a few more games, including getting my revenge on the Niners

San Francisco: 30-20

Third straight win scoring exactly 30. I managed to sack the QB enough times to stop their offense this time.

New York: 20-13

This was truly a tale of two halves, as I took a 20-0 lead into half time before getting blanked myself the rest of the way. My defense held up well enough to secure the win though. They CPU threw an incomplete pass, which I didn't even know was possible in this game

Chicago: 23-15

This was a defensive struggle as I threw like 4 picks and mostly kept them in check aside from some chunk plays. They also somehow have Devin Hester or something because their kick return game is ridiculous. In this game I started dropping my D-Lineman into coverage and got three interceptions, a strategy I plan to abuse moving forward. One of those picks was on the goal line, after which I gave up a safety.

Next is the League Championship and then the Tecmo Bowl, I presume. Washington and Cleveland remain

I do pretty good with the run. My receivers are almost always covered so passing doesn't work well

If the CPU is any indication though San Fran is just absolutely broken. I just lost to them where they scored 6 touchdowns on 8 passes and lost 40-35. God this game sucks lmao

Dear lord this game is dreadful. I couldn't figure out how the controls work at all. I'm still not sure how to pass the ball even though I won a game without it. Players just stop for no reason and the goalie seems to randomly decide not to catch the ball.

I played on level 3 and went up 2-0 in the first half before losing 4-3 because my goalie bet against us or something. The second attempt I again went up 2-0 in the first half, but this time won 3-0. Most of my goals were because the opposing goalie went the opposite direction for no apparent reason, or threw it right to my guy who shot it right back in.

Yeah, I have absolutely no desire to ever touch this again! Tecmo Bowl is at least kind of fun when it's not being annoying. This is just a janky mess that is still easy somehow in spite of it's terrible controls.

This is the first time I've supported a loser in the finals since... Locke lost to Vivi. Started 1-4 before my six year streak on the winning side, now I'm 7-5

Locke is now the only of those first 5 losers (including Kefka losing to Tidus) to fail the revenge run. I guess it's Laguna's turn to try and get a win now
