This prison seems like hell. People regularly getting beaten, raped, and killed, and anything else horrible you can imagine. McManus seems to genuinely care for the prisoners and wants to rehabilitate them but it seems like they're pretty much free to do whatever awful things they want to each other.

This is supposed to be an experimental prison wing focused on rehabilitation but it seems to just make everyone worse, how hasn't this shit been shut down a thousand times over? It's tough to suspend disbelief when a dude gets murdered every other episode.

I guess that movie found a cult following or something. Its initial release was not super successful.

Great film though, glad to see people enjoying it.

Quake 2 is one of my favorite shooters. It's just a blast to play.

The second screen was heavily tied to the game, so it would've been a very hard (and expensive) game to port, considering XCX probably didn't sell that well...because it was tied to the Wii U.

That ZombiiU game was built around the tablet and they still brought it to other consoles

Idk if they're considered notable but the HD remasters of Twilight Princess and Windwaker are still stuck on Wii U

A couple years ago I woke up and could not move at all. Like every attempt to make my limbs move felt like I was controlling wet noodles. I started panicking because I thought I had broken my neck in my sleep or something somehow, and there was this howling noise in my ears like all my windows were open and I was in the middle of a hurricane.

Then it went away. I legitimately dunno if it was sleep paralysis or not but I could suddenly control myself again and move fine, and the noise was gone. Nothing like that has happened before or since so Im hoping that was all it was

That's exactly what sleep paralysis is! Visual and auditory hallucinations can definitely happen

It appears to be a multiplayer only online game, not an actual follow-up to the RPGs. Hopefully we get one of those, sooner or later.

Well Cartman is back in his Stick of Truth costume and he specifically talks to the New Kid so it sounds like this is part of that continuity.

Idk, the art style looks pretty awful and online co op games almost never appeal to me so I don't have much hope for this. Probably gonna be one of those "games as a service" money sinks.

How's the run variety in this one? I liked 20XX but stopped playing after a few clears because item and enemy variety made the runs seem mostly samey

I was like 10 years old when the TCG came out. Played at the local Wizards of the Coast store (yes those were a thing) all the time without incident

It's really a shame they never bothered to continue with single player video games for Pokemon TCG and Magic the Gathering. Magic in particular, Shandalar is one of my all time favorites

Almost all FF games are linear. That isn't the problem with FFXIII. The problem with it is the extreme degree it focuses on linearity. FF7 is linear, but it doesn't just shuttle me down a series of literal hallways where I do* the exact same thing over and over and over again.

*: but it's not really doing anything, because the game plays itself so you just walk forward, watch a battle play out, and then walk forward again.

I feel like XIII's battle system doesn't do it any favors in this regard. When you can easily win every regular fight in the game with auto battle it basically turns the fights into cutscenes.

They should wait for the price to drop. Non first party games on switch do not stay full price for long
