The point is the master tries as hard as possible not to be killed. If he didn't pass any knowledge on then he wouldn't be abiding by the Rule of Two. Otherwise, if the apprentice isn't strong/cunning/whatever enough to kill his master he never deserved to be the master in the first place.

If the master passes on all his knowledge and still can't be killed, then he's still the strongest Sith which is ultimately the point of the rule of two. Keeping the existence of the Sith secret while always ensuring the strongest survive.

No you can't, because schadenfreude is exactly the reason the rich are able to get people to kill each other through class warfare and social murder.

If people are genuinely compassionate, to all people, then you wouldn't see stuff like that happening.

It's easy to show compassion to people you like.

The gut reaction to tragedy isnt to mock it. (For most people.) the gut reaction to THIS SPECIFIC THING (on the internet, not even all of society) is to mock it because it is the following:

1. absurd
2. self inflicted
3. easily avoidable
4. nothing can be done to help.

You acting like this means our entire society mocks every tragedy and nobody has compassion or wants to help is either disingenuous or wildly missing some key information.

You say "on the internet" like people aren't constantly connecting and sending memes and jokes they know to other people in real life or that there isn't a large portion of society who DOES do this for every tragedy. The only difference is it's more prominent this time because people have deemed this an acceptable target, so people who normally would try to keep up appearances are gladly indulging in it.

Do you? Think about living a society where everyone's gut reaction to a tragedy is to mock it vs a society where everybodies gut reaction is to feel compassion and want to help. What society do you think is going to have an overall kinder, more compassionate population?

You can say that it'll never happen or that it's not worthwhile because people will always do it, but the fact is no individual ever to be part of it. It also takes less effort to say nothing than it does to be actively shitty.

The people who think it's fine to laugh at these people because they're rich are engaging in the same lack of empathy that they're saying billionaires are awful for indulging in. People who claim "poor people die all the time and nobody cares" don't seem to realize you can care about both issues.

It's easy to be kind to your best friend, the measure of how good a person you are is how you treat your worst enemy. The funny thing is, I've seen a lot of people who comment on this situation (On this board included) who will proudly say no death penalty while exalting in their revenge fantasy of these billionaires getting what's coming to them.

Do you do the idol stuff irl? If so, it's really going to inhibit your chances. Even if you meet a girl, they're not going to want to feel like they're playing second fiddle to random pop stars.

The people who complain about cancel culture are always people who made their living on shock humour who don't realize society has moved on and their type of humor isn't wanted anymore. I'm sure people who did minstrel acts back in the day felt the same way when they were phased out.

Not all games sell themselves on challenge and no matter how much people want to say "you might as well watch a movie" it's not true. You don't interact with a movie the same way you interact with a game, even a game with no challenge. You can't immersive yourself the same way, there's no cause and effect to your actions in a movie.

I mean, if it's the only way to extricate yourself from the situation, yes. Aside from the damage someone biting you with full force could do on it's own, there's the risk of disease.

If someone puts you in physical danger, it's fair to do anything to get yourself out of that danger. But once you're no longer in immediate danger you no longer have the right to harm somebody.

There's Reed at some point in June/July, she's another meta big damage unit. Then there's Chong Yue(the next limited) after that. The Monster Hunter collab should happen in August, I think?

A lot will, yeah. And presumably he didn't lock himself into a contract like a lot of the early Marvel stars did that ruined their ability to take passion projects.

He has a few short parts in a handful of movies and probably got paid more than all of his other movies combined.

Stage plays do have props and sets, that's the point. You have something to see and immerse yourself in the role.

This. I'm sure he does plenty of stuff for the art, but you'd be out of your mind to turn down Disney money especially near the end of your career. Acting is his job at the end of the day.

I always find the "nothing wrong with being white" people kind of weird, because most of them are so determined to not be labeled assholes that they go full bore into being shitty, like because they don't have a rampant hatred of other races they could never possibly have done something racially insensitive.

I mean, a lot of that kind of stuff wasn't even uncommon in the 90s and early 2000s but rather than just say "Yeah, that was kind of shitty but I didn't know better, I'll try to do better now" but they go full bore defensive over it because they don't realize doing bad things doesn't necessarily make you a bad person if you admit fault and try to improve.

Ben is an asshole from what I've heard

I decided to look it up and they apparently talked about him running for congress on the podcast. They danced around it by saying they have very different political views from Ben, but they all seem very progressive so I don't know if maybe they're implying Ben is conservative? He's running as dem, though.

Likely I'm just reading too much into it lol

He did their podcast, Pod Meets World. It's really good and I'd recommend it to anyone who liked BMW.

Ben Savage isn't on it though and the last I heard seems like he isn't interested in it at all, even as a guest spot.
