Like with a dog it's meant to prevent them from running off. I'd also say it has less to do with the cat's health/weight and more the owner just wants to stroll around outside without their cat running away.

As for who's lying, it's the sheriff. 95% of the time (at least) if the option is the police are lying, then that's what it is.

Konoha has far greater infrastructure than would exist in a village due to the tiny population requirement of a village versus a town. It is possible that it is a town, but it is more than likely a city due to density.

Konoha was regarded as a village, but it was a large village which could compare to minor cities within DBZ. Konoha's pop (looking it up for this convo lol) is estimated at 80k. I used to live in an officially-regarded city that was about 53k.

Can't find a pop for East City, however Nappa also doesn't blow up the entire city, he blows up a large part of it.

It's likely bullshit, but it is a very rural village of like 1300 people that takes 10 hrs to reach via river. A bunch of children in cities may have cellphones, however there are still isolated communities behind on technology.

I don't know about MCU/DCEU, however Kishimoto back in 2013 said Madara in his final form is as strong as Nappa, who is an absolute joke strength-wise in DBZ, so they'd likely dominate a lot fanbases.

I'm not talking about any specific issues, however the younger generations of today are the most tolerant and accepting of minorities and live in a far different reality than those in the 90s.

Teens in the 90s didn't have to have active shooter drills routinely done because even though Columbine existed, it was treated as an extreme rarity. The most we had were practice fire drills.

The younger generations are the most educated and informed that they've ever been thanks to the advent of the Internet putting the worlds information at our fingertips.

And yes, there's still misinformation that will suck people in and all that, but the younger generations of today are not the same of those in the 90s.

After all, they were still the boomer generation, just younger. Boomers as a generation seem to have this disparaging mentality that ranges from right-wingers actively want to take us backwards and left-wingers (Dem-likely voters) wanting to prevent too much progress or change cause it scares them and wasn't like that for them when they were kids.

Obviously I'm not dooming all boomers, just expressing why our government as soon across the nation, dominated by boomers, seems to have generational attitudes that are out of date. Another really basic example is their insistence on trying to reach across the aisle and work on bipartisanship when the GOP has objectively become a religious fascist movement.

The man was killed during an warranted arrest in regards to threatening Biden, he did not threaten to kill Biden during the arrest, leading to them killing him.

Trump is a coward though. He fires people while they're taking shits, not to their face. He's a bitch when it comes to confrontation.

He wasn't that way in the first GOP debate in 2015. Granted he's changed from then, both mentally and physically, however I vividly remember when Rand Paul tried damning Trump for "giving money to Dem politicians" and Trump casually shot back with, "I've given plenty of money to you, Rand". Trump's GOP debate performance is a big reason he gained the lead he did amongst their base.

I think it will be much easier for him to cope with a fact-free debate environment centered around worshipping him, his presidency, and his policies, than a general where he has to respond to facts and criticisms levied against him.

The vast majority of these people are vying for VP, so the only ones I expect to even go in on Trump would be Christie and possibly Hutchinson.

I don't think there's any way he'll attend a debate. Remember he wouldn't even debate Biden after the 1st one.

I don't think he has the ability or restraint to actually be on a debate stage anymore.

You and I both know he doesn't factor restraint into anything he does. His objective is to poison the very legal legal indictments by poisoning the public against the notion of holding him accountable. He also loves insulting and tearing people apart in front of a camera. Live primary debates is his best opportunity to do that.

At least, that's one way I see it. I also see Trump having no interest because he's so far ahead of everybody else there's no real point.

That's why I think Pence being there would be something irresistible for him because he gets to tear into him and then claim it's political speech, which he's constantly testing the degree the court will hold his speech accountable, so it's totally something he'd do.

A Utah man accused of making threats against President Joe Biden was shot and killed by FBI agents hours before the president was expected to land in the state Wednesday, authorities said.

Special agents were trying to serve a warrant on the home of Craig Deleeuw Robertson in Provo, south of Salt Lake City, when the shooting happened at 6:15 a.m., the FBI said in a statement.

Robertson posted online Monday that he had heard Biden was coming to Utah and he was planning to dig out a camouflage suit and "clean the dust off the m24 sniper rifle."

The posts indicated he did appear to own a long-range sniper rifle and numerous other weapons, as well as camouflage gear known as a "ghillie suit," investigators said in court records.

Robertson also referenced a "presidential assassination" and made other threats against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and New York Attorney General Letitia James, court documents state.

"The time is right for a presidential assassination or two. First Joe then Kamala!!!" authorities say Robertson wrote in a September 2022 Facebook post included in the filings. No attorney was immediately listed for Robertson in court documents.

No further details were immediately released about the shooting, which is under review by the FBI.

Biden is in the middle of a trip to the Western United States. He spent Wednesday in New Mexico, where he spoke at a factory that will produce wind towers, and is scheduled to fly to Utah later in the day.

On Thursday, he's expected to visit a Veterans Affairs hospital to talk about the PACT Act, which expanded veterans benefits, and hold a reelection fundraiser.
