Didn't they already remake it on DS?

The DS version was more of an enhanced port. They added in some characters to help tie it in with newer games, but the graphics were pretty much the same as the old PS1 port.

The Switch Remake completely redid all of the models

I'm in the process of exercising and slimming down. I'm not about to buy all new pants every time my waistline shrinks. Belts help solve that problem with ease.

That Accord Touring should be pretty loaded with much more space.

TC originally said he wanted something used in the $25k price range. And new Civics are also below that range, hence my suggestion. I wasn't telling him to choose the Civic over the Accord.

And to be fair, Civics are actually pretty roomy now. Civics actually have the same amount of front leg room as the Accord. Just slightly less leg room for the rear seats and less cargo space.

I'll give you a good example. My parents about 4 years ago bought themselves a brand new van. 2 years ago they found out that van was worth at last 10k more than they bought it for, so they sold it and bought another brand new van with added features. It's ridiculous the market for cars and computer products these days.

Yeah it's been crazy. Last year I sold my 2016 Civic for almost as much as I bought it for. Used that as an opportunity to upgrade to an Accord lol.

No... I'm saying that I'd rather have officers go in that will actually put a stop to the shooter (and thankfully other officers did). Whereas I feel that an officer that is too scared to go in, won't actually be of any use.

And to be clear, I do agree with the fact that he lost his job and that he shouldn't be in law enforcement anymore. But I've also seen in other topics that people want him to suffer. It's a weird bloodlust.

I'm not a psychopath. The idea isn't to seek vengeance out on people.

Its that if we collectively decide that police officers don't have to engage mass shooters then that is a very dangerous precedent and something that the shooters can use to their advantage when carrying out attacks.

And yea I'm for more gun control so no disagreement there.

But that's not the precedent being set here. Most officers do immediately head towards the shooter. It's tragic what happened in Parkland, but would you really want someone that's panicking to rush in with a gun in their hands? That could just make the whole situation worse.

Nah, that's not what that is saying. The US version says "prepared in vegetable oil." The word prepared in that context is just explaining how they are fried. Not that they're literally making the fries in the restaurant

CE, the industrial revolution started 263 years ago (1760). So his statement, is already incorrect. Because 150 years ago, people were already working in factories, offices and warehouses and had been for over a century.

The majority of people that owned farms in the 1800's were rich slave owners. The common people worked their asses off and were plenty miserable.

For what it's worth, I don't actually see this shake available on their site. But the ones that are there are still pretty damn bad.

The problem I've noticed is that a lot of food in the US is like this. Huge amounts of calories and sugar, but presented as a single meal for 1 person. I've looked at the menus at sit down restaurants and a lot of entrees end up being 2,000+ calories without a soda

Yeah, I'm also going to give her the benefit of the doubt there. It just seems like a lot of figuring things out for herself. Like before the pregnancy I remember her talking a lot about how she never felt right wearing feminine clothing. Then during the pregnancy she started to like wearing some of it, but started talking about her plans to transition after giving birth.

I don't blame her for being embarassed for how that last topic went. But IIRC, she wasn't suspended for it (not directed at you TC, someone else said that). She just locked it and disappeared.

Nah the buns aren't frozen. Those get delivered at room temperature. All of the fries and meat are frozen though.

I drink energy drinks almost every weekday. If you drink something with a lot of caffeine (some drinks have 240-300 mg), just make sure you eat a meal with it or you'll be jittery in a few hours.

One of the best tasting energy drinks that I've had is the Rockstar Punched Fruit Punch flavor. It has 240mg of caffeine and tastes like a sweet fruit punch soda. The downside to that sweetness though is that is has 61g of sugar and 260 calories. The Pure Zero version replaces the sugar with Sucralose, so you get only 10 calories in exchange for less sweetness.

The Monster Ultra flavors aren't bad either. Much less caffeine (155 mg) than the Rockstars and they use sucralose as well to reach 10 calories per can. Ultra Sunrise is my favorite. Carbonated Orange flavor, like a light orange soda.

I am the parent in my relationship lol. And yeah, my son is always getting sick. I try my best not to let it spread to my gf.

A lot of people defend the batteries but by the time like a ps4 controller battery fails, it's the next generation already. Or spending money on a new controller probably cheaper than buying all those AA batteries or buying rechargeable batteries with an AA battery charger.

That was not my experience with the PS4 controller. I played it a lot, so after 2 years of constant use, the battery would die extremely quickly. And the USB C slot on the controller was so loose that I couldn't just plug in the wire and keep playing. The wire would fall out with any slight movement. So the solution was to buy another controller. And that was long before the PS5 came out.

The upside to the AA batteries is that you can get a pack of rechargeable ones for less than the price of a new controller. And since you have multiple sets of batteries, they last a long time before they stop holding a charge. I think more controllers should at least have that as an option.

And if you really want that "rechargeable controller" experience, you can buy a play & charge kit. Costs more than AA batteries, but you don't have to remove the battery to recharge it.

That said though, I didn't want to deal with any of that, so I just bought a wired Xbox One controller for my PC. I've had it for 3 years now and it still works great. Even has optional paddles that I can add or remove as needed.

If you want to or like paying Im not bashing that. But this attitude that a man is definitely "supposed" to pay is a mindset dating to the 1950s and borderline sexist.

Woman are making great salaries and jobs just like men are now. This idea that men are all the breadwinners now is just not true anymore. This mindset of "men should pay" dates back to a time where traditionally woman didn't hold jobs and were traditionally at home. It's 2023, that mindset, at least in America is not a celebrated practice anymore.

Expecting a man to pay for your meal? Now imagine a man telling a woman what "traditional values" he expects from her on a date.

It's not about "traditional values" though. In modern times the idea is that the person that made the first move and set up the date should be the one that pays. Unfortunately, this still often ends up being the man (but more women are starting to make the first move). It's not saying that the man should always pay, but if you ask a woman out and then insist that she split, it doesn't come off well. If we go out on a second date and she never makes an attempt to pay, then that's a problem.
