Simple syrup is just sugar water. Equal parts sugar mixed with hot water till it dissolves completely.

when making an old fashioned, finish it off with a splash of water to make it a little less harsh.

There used to be a show on Comedy Central called workaholics and it started Adam Devine, Anders holm, Blake anderson, and Kyle newacheck. They also starred in the movie game over, man on Netflix. They now do a podcast called this is important where they talk about immature things for an hour, and I find it very humorous.

they are doing a live tour for the podcast, and I got tickets. I paid extra for the meet and greet. Gonna meet them and greet them.

They wanted to, I was too young and didnt want to wake up early. I have managed several restaurants and I often wonder where my life would be if I had accepted the job at 19.

I was the youngest employee of the year in Outback Steakhouse history* (I have no idea if thats true, but I won it at 17 and so I say it as fact)

I also wonder where Id be right now because the Outback I worked at isnt there anymore. So that would be something.

I did everything at outback, but I started as a busser, worked every cook position, onto all the front of house positions. Everything short of manager (there) I did.

We already had this topic and everybody overwhelmingly agreed yes and were very comfortable with it
