It's difficult to think of examples that the type of people insulting me over this topic would consider valid examples. Because I'm assuming you'd default to one side of the debate, and justify any attacks against the other side of the debate... Because that's what you're already doing in this one.

If someone only sees the colors white and black, it's difficult to show them gray.

As Ragnarok said, anyone who's been on the internet long enough should be able to think of an example. IMO if they still somehow can't, there's no way I can convince them one exists either.

Nope, because "X is Y" can be a vague statement, and is in this case. People say stuff like "X character is *insert VA name here*," even though the character obviously isn't literally that person. Thus, a statement as simple as "Kratos is black" is vague enough to mean any number of things. Race isn't specified in that statement.

I know how upset you get over the idea of black people, though, so I understand why you lost your head a bit and had to post that.

Subway has had the furthest overall decline imo, probably why they are being bought out by Jimmy Johns I think it was.

They're not being bought out by Jimmy Johns themselves, they're being bought by the private equity firm that owns Jimmy Johns and like fifty other places.

How uploads from phones work depends on the individual phone (and possibly the browser). I don't get any such option on mine, nor does the stock software offer a way to resize it. I can reduce the size at the time of taking a photo, or crop it; that's about it.

My tablet can resize, and of course it's easily done on PC.

Fair point. I'm used to stuff like iPhone that makes it super easy.

Who the hell cares why he did it? It was a huge donation and it helped a lot of people.

It's just meant to be a fun channel that people kinda mindlessly watch and he does good things with the money he gets. If he starts getting political, he runs the risk of driving people off, and then that means less money to do good things with.

Also, the whole burger thing is kinda sad, because he initially did it to keep kitchen staff at smaller restaurants employed while the restaurants were closed during COVID, and the company is kinda trying to screw him over.

This. Basically, he partnered with a ghost restaurant company and they basically use his name to sell really shitty burgers. He came out and said "Yeah they're really shitty burgers and I wish I never signed that contract" because... They're really shitty burgers. The ghost restaurant company tried to sue him for saying that, so he's countersuing to try to get out of the contract, saying they broke some clause by having no quality control.

Shinada's combat is ass, I agree. I still appreciated his character, though.

Yeah. I liked that, too. They were refreshing characters. Not that I dislike Kiryu/Majima/Saejima/etc., but it was nice to have variety.

More like why is 5 so high. A game that has a character that in the long run whose important story to Yakuza is "There was an adult entertainment reviewer who used to play baseball who tackled a sniper. He went to school with Daigo."

I liked this, actually. Not every character needs to be some super important yakuza guy. Even Akiyama, who isn't a yakuza, is still immediately pushed as this character that pretty much everybody knows. It was nice to have a character who was... Just some guy.

No matter what you think he is, his children are portrayed as being much lighter in skin tone than he is, regardless, so I'm not really sure it's proof of anything, as far as the debate goes.

And, to be fair, it was a clear design choice. They purposely made his children look more like their mothers than him. That's not to say he's black, but that was obviously the intention.

The problem is that they're too dumb to realize that the ocean levels rising is from landlocked ice melting, not the ice already floating in the ocean.

You don't have to click on the article. You can already guess what he looks like, if you don't already know.

Also, since it was pointed out that the post was on the MK1 board, I love the inconsistency that a post saying "Kratos is black" was modded, and yet the dozens of posts of people trying to say "Tanya is white" have never once been modded, even when posted in more obviously trolling ways.

It's too vague for that. "Kratos is black" could mean any number of things. It could mean the voice actor is black, for example. Add on to that the fact that Kratos's skin color has varied between media, from darker shades to lighter, and the fact that there has been nothing said definitively in either direction, you can't really call it "misinformation."

Now, if the devs straight up came out and said "Kratos is officially a white guy," then yes, it could be seen as trolling, but they never have, and thus it is a technically disputable idea.
