I enjoyed it. Not sure why people are so bothered by the wings (you're not the only one that's complained about it TC). I just saw it as the Symbiote learning and evolving.

And with the Symbiote being a giant hive mind, The whole, trying to take over the city thing made sense too. They wanted to add more minds to the hive and they convinced Harry that it was helping people.

I hate drivers like that guy in the truck. Instead of waiting for traffic to pass (it didn't look like there was anyone behind the lady he cut off), he tries to force his way into traffic because he's in a big truck. I've seen big trucks do shit like that all the time.

Yes, they're both idiots, but the truck driver should have waited for an actual opening instead of forcibly creating his own opening.

Nope. It's not a bad game, but it's far from a 10/10. In my opinion, it would have benefited a lot from being toned down in scale. Yes, there are a lot of planets, but there's fuck all to do on most of them. Fewer planets with more detail, and the ability to actually fly around in space would have been great.

I'm not even bothered by the fact that traveling from one planet to another is all cutscenes, but we have all of this spaceship customization and we can't even leave a planet's orbit without fast traveling. It's so much wasted potential.

I'm not too worried about this until I start seeing proof otherwise. While Mario would have been better with less pop culture infusion, it's not as detrimental to the setting and immersion as it would be with a high fantasy setting like zelda.

We'll have to wait and see. And I guess to be fair, the music changes in Mario were Illumination's doing. There was an original score created for the Donkey Kong Kingdom, called 'Drivin Me Bananas' that was replaced by Take On Me. And the music composer had to fight them on using the Superstar theme at the big climax. They wanted to use Jump by Van Halen.

Given how well the Mario movie did, it has potential to be good. One thing they need to do though, is keep stupid higher ups from inserting butt rock into the soundtrack. As much as I like the songs 'Holding Out for a Hero' and 'Take On Me' the Mario Movie would have been better off with the originally planned musical scores that actually fit Mario. I hope Zelda doesn't have the same issue

ROM Cartridges were faster than CDs and DVDs. But, SSD's are magnitudes faster than Discs. And technology has kind of left ROMs behind. It doesn't have the storage needed for modern games.

My recommendation is to get a nice, ergonomic office chair instead of a gaming chair. Gaming chairs tend to be overpriced for the quality you get and not really that comfortable.

The desk is really just personal preference.

I'd recommend Detroit Become Human. It's more of a narrative adventure game than an RPG, but if you want a dialogue system with more depth than your typical Bethesda game, this is a good contender.

I thought it was a 10/10 game. Lots of improvements to both the combat and the traversal systems. And I found both the main story and the side stories to be a lot of fun. But I'm also someone that loved the Miles Morales game.

There's still plenty of collectibles and side content, but all of that is optional if you just want the main story.

I was about to buy the game because I love Venom so much, but the trailers are misleading and he's a very small part of the game unfortunately. Totally killed my hype instantly.

So, spoilers but he has a decent amount of screen time. But the game isn't solely about Venom. The first half of the game is about Kraven and the Symbiote itself.

It's still a fantastic game.

I'm not sure how the fast passes work now, but at least up until late 2019 with the app, I easily had my way. Granted, it mainly works if your party is very able-bodied, but even if I wasn't...."Power Riding" things repeatedly, I could line things up to do things at relaxed convenience. It's just crazy to me that people are going to wait in the 2-hour line.

Yeah Fast Passes are/were a money grab, but you're spending an asinine amount of money (as someone who has a soft spot for Disneyland) to get in the park already. Can't blame the park anymore.

When I went in 2014, the fast passes were free, but they were for set times and you could only have 1 fast pass per park active at one time. So what we did was grab a fast pass ticket for Space Mountain in Disneyland and a fast pass ticket for Radiator Springs Racers in California Adventure. Those were easily the longest line in each park and the fast passes would run out fast. But because the system was set up that way, it meant we had to wait in line for pretty much everything else.

But even then, they show the wait times before you get in line. People need to plan accordingly. 1-2 hours shouldn't be long enough that you can't hold it. And if your 3 year old has to go, then take them to the bathroom. Don't teach them gross habits like that.

My favorite is the Elephant in Halo 3, simply because of the hilarious effect of flipping it (it's a very large vehicle)

Glad I'm not the only one who was bothered by the air forces comment. I had a few pair of air forces ones back in the early 2000's. Probably the most pride I had in my shoes lol.

Those Adidas don't actually look too bad outside of the game though. I'd wear some of those with less loud colors.

Sure, not literally. But his design makes him look like an evil Spider-Man. His suit is black, with a white spider symbol on his chest. And his mask is shaped like Spider-Man as well.

Oh wow yeah, I completely missed that. I know she takes over the mantle in the comics, so I assumed that's where they were going with that

And yeah I don't think Chameleon will take on the Kraven mantle, but at the very least it sounded like he planned on attacking Spider-Man after Spider-Man was the one to trigger the trap intended for Kraven. So he'll be a future villain. Maybe not the main one, but we'll definitely see him again.

It does seem like they might be going in that direction since they introduced Cindy at the end (and didn't even show her face lol). So we've got Peter, Miles and Silk in the same universe and possibly Gwen out there somewhere too.

Peter not being Spider-Man is just so incredibly unlike the character that is just bugs me. It's practically a compulsion, a disease or a drug. Pete is always haunted by his one mistake the mistakes that came after that, ones that push him to push himself into doing what he does. He can't stop himself, and likely never will. So for him to lend the 'job' to Miles just doesn't really make sense to me.

With great power comes great responsibility. Unless he dies or loses his power, he's got that great power. And therein lies the issue. With it, comes that great responsibility that he will ALWAYS bare. Otherwise he's betraying the one thing he's held closest to his heart after Ben's death. He's temporarily quit being Spidey before, but until he's unable to, he will always have to be Spidey. Because he is unable to not be him.

Anyway, I want Superior Spider-Man to be adapted into this series.

And that's exactly what's going to happen, because (major Spider-Man 2 spoilers!) The game sets up a lot of villains that Miles isn't going to be able to handle alone. Green Goblin, the return of Doc Ock, the Chameleon, Ana (Raven's daughter) as the new Kraven, and worst of all, Carnage. Peter wants to stop being Spider-Man, but the onslaught of villains isn't going to let him rest for long.

Although they may be able to delay Peter's return for a while if a certain scene means that we'll be seeing Silk (another Spider-Man) in this universe too.

Alright, so I didn't want to touch this topic until I fully completed Spider-Man 2. And now that I have, I feel like it's an asshole move to say that in a tweet. Because (Spider-Man 2 spoilers) That's literally what is revealed at the end of Spider-Man 2. As the game went on, they were hinting at Peter wanting to let Miles take over. But it wasn't until the scene right before the end credits where they actually confirmed it. Why post that flat out in a tweet when the game has only been out for 2 weeks.

That said though, this will definitely be a temporary thing. This game set up multiple big villains for the future. So Peter will be back.

10/10 does exist as a rating. Because Bulma is a 10/10 character in Dragon Ball

Yeah, definitely because of Yakuza 0. I started with Kiwami, since that was a remaster of 1, but 0 was the fan favorite ever since that released in 2015. Like a Dragon was a big hit as well, but that released in 2020. The hype train was already going strong at that point.
