Even if my Florida Panthers weren't playing in the Stanley Cup finals tonight (so that's taking all of attention tonight no matter what) the current WWE product simply isn't good enough for me to bother paying attention to the weekly shows. I'll find clips of the good stuff and that's all I need.

Nope, the Switch is my primary gaming console and I still play it a lot. I don't have any of the other current gen consoles (no game has caught my attention enough to make me move up yet) and all I use my XB1 for these days is as a media player or to play Call of Duty.

Update: Firefox for Android + the Tampermonkey extension (regular one worked, Beta version wasn't necessary) + the ImageFAQs userscript does seem to work on my mobile device. I can't guarantee that it'll work on yours, but it works on mine. Once you get those installed, go to your GameFAQs My Account settings and a new link called "ImageFAQs Options" should show up, and that's how you know it's active. Then you can check those options and customize how images display, like thumbnail sizes, whether to embed images in users' signatures or not, whether to expand images by hovering over them (not really applicable on mobile devices), and other stuff.

Same. I mentioned it earlier, but I skipped Seele and Jing to save as much as possible for Silver Wolf without spending any real money. I currently have 30 passes and about 130 pulls worth of Jade, which is sadly still a bit short of the 180 pulls needed to 100% completely guarantee getting her. If I get unlucky and don't pull her, I'm uninstalling.

No idea. If there's a mobile browser that can run browser extensions (and therefore can run Tampermonkey, the browser extension that runs the userscript) then theoretically it might work, but I've never gone to look for such an option because I've never needed one. I'll try to look into it for you tomorrow.

GameFAQs' built-in image uploader badly compresses images and ruins their quality. That's why I was using Imgur before, but then Imgur announced that they were changing their ToS to no longer allow lNSFW content to be uploaded to their servers, so I switched to using https://freeimage.host instead.

If you want to make viewing images on this site easier, I recommend installing the ImageFAQs userscript on your browser so that you can embed direct-linked images from any image host, not just ones from Imgur or ones directly hosted on this site's shitty servers.

PriConne definitely had your home screen characters wish you a happy birthday. Revue Starlight ReLive does too. Revue actually has some of the characters comment on other characters' birthdays too, which adds a bit of personality to the cast and their relationships. It's comfy.

It's a fighter where you don't need to memorize combos or inputs, so the barrier of entry is low but it still retains a high skill ceiling.

All of this, especially that last point. It's so easy to pick up and play, and once you learn the basic controls and mechanics, you can play pretty much any character in the game. No need to waste hours flipping in and out of the move list in training mode to learn a character only for most of that knowledge to not carry over to the rest of the cast. There's still a high skill ceiling, but that skill ceiling is mostly based in the mechanics of the game itself (movement, spacing, off-stage play, match-up knowledge of the very large roster) and not simply in who can input a long string of buttons and quarter-circles the fastest.

The only other fighting game franchise that I enjoy nearly as much as Smash Bros is Soul Calibur, which also has more simplified inputs and more focus on movement than most fighting games.

Sudden thought: the Power Herb item should eliminate the recharge turn for Hyper Beam and similar moves just like it eliminates the charge turn for Solar Beam and similar moves. But when Return boosted by a Life Orb is almost as strong as Hyper Beam and could actually be used more than once, would Power Herb Hyper Beam actually be worth using? Maybe if the herb didn't actually activate until the second turn so the opponent thinks you have to recharge and then you bash them with an unexpected attack, it could have some niche use. Or it could be used on a Pokemon with the Unburden ability so their speed would double after their held item gets used up. I dunno, I'm just spitballing ideas here.

The fact that this show performed so badly that they literally cancelled the Blu-ray release, yet Crunchyroll actually wasted time and effort dubbing it, is still absolutely baffling to me. As for the show itself... I personally dropped it after 6 episodes. It was just kinda meh. Maybe you'll like it though.

Probably because the stuff you're having us rate is genuinely fucking awful. In this case, Hyper Beam is worthless without the glitch in gen 1 that lets you skip the recharge if you KO the opposing Pokemon. You're better off using Body Slam or Return twice over those 2 turns that Hyper Beam would take.

Gen 1 Hyper Beam = 4/5
Gen 2+ Hyper Beam = 1/5

I hope they find out which player said it and that player is kicked off the team and out of the league. Dude cost his entire team the game (and possibly a lot of money if they went on to win the tournament) because he couldn't keep himself from being a racist fuck for 90 minutes.

Even noted AEW fanboy Dave Meltzer says that's a brutal day for a weekly wrestling show.
It might do good at first but I don't know how long it could last, especially once Football starts back up.

I mean, Saturday in primetime is probably still better than Rampage's 10pm Friday death slot

It's still ridiculous to me that AEW's idea of a solution to the CM Punk problem was to split the roster into "people that are willing to work with CM Punk" (Collision) and "people that aren't willing to work with CM Punk" (Dynamite), but whatever. Hopefully he'll play nice this time.

Here's the list of new Pokemon and alternate forms that can now be transferred into S/V from other games. It consists of a bunch of starters, regional forms, legendaries, mythicals, and... Carbink, for some reason.

Of course, you can also transfer your Pokemon from S/V into Home for safe-keeping, and (for the first time since the original gen 1-2) you can even send them backwards a generation into Sw/Sh, BD/SP, or Legends Arceus if the Pokemon is also compatible with one of those games.

If the NBA were scripted, they sure as fuck wouldn't be scripting it for a final between Denver and Miami. They'd be scripting it for the popular franchises in the big markets who would bring them big ratings and big money, AKA Boston and Los Angeles, AKA the teams who lost these series. If anything, it's more likely that Denver and Miami overcame the league/refs trying to swing things against them and still won in spite of it.
