Is probably possible only because those who grew up playing the games are now the ones behind the wheel in the creative process of these projects. Back then it was probably some studio hack wanting to take advantage of brand recognition so quality wasnt of the outmost importance.

You cant play a retro game now and expect it to have the same impact it did for people back then. Hell, most of those have stood well to the test of time, SMW, SM, LTTP, FF6 are still fun to play.

Just finished ep 6 and bruh...that was one of the best episodes Ive seen from any piece of media ever. Not just bc of the end, but every scene was meaningful and nicely done.

4 episodes in so far. pretty freakin good.

It also helps that the previous show already did a lot of the background building so no need to delve in Belmont history.

I don't get what's so difficult... they literally give you the percentages up front. If you don't like the style of combat, that's chill, but for what it is, it's excellent.

I like the combat. Its not knowing the REASONS behind the %

TBF I like the game. The open ended aspect to approach combat and progression makes it fun. The characters are nicely written and the VA performance is great for most. Its totally my type of game. Just that its way more complex than any other game Ive played before and it hinders my enjoyment at times. Also some stuff like paying to revive I find it a bit too much, but I understand how it plays into the gotta take it seriously aspect.

Same thing as Auron from FFX. At 30 youre a seasoned warrior whos seen it all.

Did you take the great weapon master feat? It has a thing where it gives you a -5 to hit, but +10 damage. It can be toggled off on the passives bar.

Shadowheart is never allowed to hit anything at any point in the game, it's the law. Not sure why.

Take a look at what saving throws the enemies need to make for each spell. If you're using one that has a WIS check and are using it against enemies with high wisdom you're going to fail.

I like the high strategy aspect, but its soo frustrating not understanding why things happen. Like why do I keep failing so many attacks. Why does Gale and Shadowheart suck so much at the beginning? His spells miss half the time and same with SH. And leizel used to hit 95% and now its 50-60. Why why why? This sucks.

So first off WIC covers a lot less then you think it does and a lot less people have it due to stigma. Also if they steal it, they can buy more groceries or whatever else. I've never seen it heard of a middle class person stealing Baby Formula unless they were the binge stealers (people who walk in with a cart, put a ton of it in their cart then walk out but that happened like twice in 10 years and usually there were better options to binge steal.

The actual prices of all these concerts have been from 50 to a few hundreds, but THATS if you youre lucky enough to purchase them from the source.

Maybe cause it's a high demand item? Wasnt there a shortage during the pandemic which made some people bulk buy them and reselling them? Low income people can apply for WIC, plus food stamps. Its not that complicated really and fun to try out. But for Wizards imo best is half wood elf, shield dwarf or human for shield proficiency to make your wizard less squishy. They got rid of stat bonuses for races, so it is mostly appearances and the proficiency bonuses.

Also forgot to mention you do get a wizard and warlock as party members, so if you dont want to double dip, though you dont have to use them and can respec everyone to something else if you wish.

Bard is the most fun class. Can go magic, ranged or melee and be the face of the party.

Difference between Wizard, Warlock and Sorcerer are: Wizards can learn the most spells, uses INT as their damage stat. Warlocks have just 2 spell slots, but they recover on short rests and learn the smallest amount of spells. Uses CHA as their damage stat. Sorcerers are basically in the middle, but gain metamagic which allows them to alter their spells. Also uses CHA as their damage stat.

Think I might do wizard then since all that sounds a bit complicate. Any race that benefits with being a wizard?

Want to get this over with now and not be stuck an hour deciding what to play as when Im actually playing the game. Ive always tend to do melee builds with these games since Im basic and low IQ, but want something more involved this time around. Been leaning towards Paladin, wizards, warlock, sorcerer....is there a difference? Dont they all do magic?

Feels like a lot of the younger male population is leaning that way as well.
