My Make A Wish was to go to Disneyland with the family. Being part of a family of 8 and a single mother raising us alone, it was huge for us. Kids' wishes vary greatly depending on the situation.

When I was a kid, I slept with windows open in the summer due to no ac. Anyways, we were 25ish miles from Ohare Airport so planes were often lower approaching the airport.

I don't remember specific dreams, but I do remember often when a plane would fly overhead, whatever my dream was about, the sound of the plane would cause me to look up in my dream and see a massive spaceship, similar to the ones in Independence day.

I do it even when alone by habit.

On a side note, my wife and I were supposed to see them this past summer after being delayed 2 years for the pandemic. As luck would have it, we had no babysitter and I got scheduled to work.

Would've been my first time seeing them.

My local MJR charges 6 bucks for major shows, and fathom events are double.

Fathom events and the like are normally a set price outside the theater's control.

There is already surge pricing on certain movies. Usually a couple bucks more the first 2 weeks.

I got a summons for grand jury duty a couple years ago. I was able to get out of it due to personal hardship however.

Invited people over to watch Royal Rumble on Saturday. I don't watch much anymore but always fun to have a group over for the big events.
Although, per my usual luck, it's supposed to snow a good amount so people probably won't travel. Seems to happen everytime I have a get together.
