It's quite remarkable how bad the Cardinals have been. You never see that. Their record is only just barely better than the A's record, and they're on pace for a historically bad season.

Harrison Bader is almost singlehandedly carrying the corpse that is the Yankees offense until Judge and Stanton come back. It's wild how much better the AL East is than every other division. The new balanced schedule really emphasizes it even more than previous years.

lmao. Ryan Noda of the A's hit a home run and the MLB.com highlight had to crop out a couple "Sell the Team" signs A's fans had hanging over the railing.

I think in most cases it probably stems from whatever team your parents, friends, or neighbors root for. But sometimes it could just be timing. My Dad is a Mets fan, so logically, I should be a Mets fan. But when you were a kid in the late 90's it's hard not to end up a Yankees fan. Now I watch both teams equally, and I'd consider myself slightly more of a general baseball fan than a Yankees fan.

Yeah I enjoyed exploring the world and I'm interested in seeing what's happened to it since BOTW. But I get why that might not be enough for everyone. Open world games can be very hit or miss. For me, it worked though.

Thats exactly what it was in the video. The YouTuber is a huge Zelda mark and was trying their best to hype the game in the end despite not really showing anything exciting.
I mean he was only allowed to show select footage. Almost all of it was showing off the new abilities and how you use them in the world. I do think by this point though, most people should be able to tell if they'll like the game or not. While there is a lot left unseen, the whole open world sandbox is undoubtedly a significant part of the game. If you're not thrilled with that, it's probably not going to be for you.

Yeah the beginning of the game is pretty limited, but that's only part of the game. It never does open up like the other 3D Zelda games do either, but I don't think that's a bad thing. Linearity is mostly fine.

It's not my favorite, but I can understand why others might consider it theirs.

Performance looks pretty bad in spots. And Ultrahand does seem to be a bit more of a necessity in getting around than I was expecting. It also seems somewhat limited. You can attach rockets to your stuff for example, but after activation they disappear within a few seconds. Kinda lame. Also I think the Fuse system for arrows in particular might get tedious for a lot of people as your inventory bloats. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to hotkey specific materials to use.

Still not really a whole lot of information on dungeons or their equivalent as far as I can tell for those who consider them to be a dealbreaker.

Otherwise, it looks fun.

I haven't played them, but the NSMB games don't even seem that bad. They're just a way to make the 2D Mario games more accessible to modern audiences. Most Mario fans are going to vastly prefer World/SMB3, but those are old games and not likely to draw in the casual audience.

Like all franchises now, they just aren't pumping out great games at the rate they used to. But I don't think that means the series is declining. Odyssey was incredible, and there's no reason to doubt whatever the next 3D Mario will be. The only thing I'm concerned about is the death of Mario RPG games. I'm not sure they have any interest in that part of the franchise anymore.

GeneralKenobi85

That distinction between post-apocalyptic and post-post-apocalyptic is important. Fallout as a series had established itself as the latter by that point, so Fallout 3 is kind of a mess in hindsight. That was and still is one of the major complaints that game had. I think it's ultimately down to player preference. In my opinion, Fallout 3's world at a glance looks and feels like the more interesting setting. But it's not like the Mojave is lacking or anything either. New Vegas is also a superior game for a number of other reasons unrelated to the setting.

That said, it doesn't need a remake. Mods have given it more life than a remake could ever offer.

Yankees offense continues to disappoint. And Vlad Jr. continues to kill them. As always, I think the AL East will be a toss-up this year. The Rays will cool down, but I think at the end of the day they're still equally as good as the Yankees and Jays. And then who knows with the Orioles and Red Sox. I don't really put them on the same level as the other three AL East teams, but all five of them are above .500 right now.

Also, Pirates now have the best record in the NL. Quite the rare sight.

Shaggy is no Risen CGV, still the best fight maybe now topped by Amatsu if not for Amatsu's poor stats. However, I think he's fairer than he seems.

His attacks don't let up and feel bullshit, but you gotta realize something crucial about Shaggy.

ALL of his attacks attack forwards. His backside is so vulnerable. You're almost always safe attacking his tail for instance. If you're on a mobile weapon, he's a bit of a pushover.
You do have to attack the front eventually though if you want to recover from Frenzy. And you're obviously a bit limited in how much time you have to actually whack the tail and back legs since he'll turn around pretty quickly. And being under him you can still get hit easily by his charge attacks and some close range frenzy blasts.

It's pretty hard to keep up with I'd say. I think it and Risen Valstrax are going to end up being the hardest monsters in the game. Which one is the hardest will probably vary per person. We'll see how the Malzeno variant compares in a few months.

Seems I'm pretty rusty. Both new fights ended up taking excruciatingly long to beat. Hard to hit either of them. But no quest failures I guess. Carted twice on Amatsu and once to Risen Shagaru. Beating Risen Valstrax was more satisfying I felt. Still, both new fights are pretty exciting. Good stuff.

I just don't think Scherzer is the type of guy who'd be stupid enough to get caught doing that. Also, since they introduced this rule, this is the only third time they've ever ejected someone. All by the same ump. So that looks suspect as well.

Between this and the Domingo German situation with the rosin the other day, MLB is going to have to address this I imagine.

I would say learning that she outlived her daughter and missed the majority of her life made her pretty vulnerable. But her determination to prevent humanity from potentially dooming itself in the name of greed and her determination to protect Newt are what drive her to fight.

Unless you consider Despicable Me to be a cinematic universe I guess.
It wouldn't really work anyway due to tonal clash of some of these franchises. You can realistically sell something like Mario and Kirby teaming up, but it gets a bit more ridiculous when you add the more mature series like Metroid and Zelda.

I still want a Super Smash Bros. RPG kind of game though. Or any Nintendo crossover that isn't a fighter.
