Which brings me to reason 2, mario team is lazy and its all nsmbs fault, those games are so bland but they outsell every 3d mario by a lot. You are a lost generation. I remember a time when all mario games were good like Mario Advanced 1-4. Meanwhile Marios Hat Adventure had such uninspired levels. reason the third. Bowsers Fury. They wanted to rerelease 3d World (which sucked bc of camera) so they had to throw in a demo so where is this full game of bowsers furry? The only thing that I would love to walk around myself as Mario in would be Toad Town and the beautiful Mushroom Kingdom that I always wished Peach's castle would actually be in, and not the "yawn, zzz, my dad just cut the yard, look at the flat lawn" that Super Mario 64 has established for the games now. They have a 3D Mario game in the shop, it could be basically done, and they are purposely sitting on it for all we know. Most Mario fans are going to vastly prefer World/SMB3, but those are old games and not likely to draw in the casual audience. Like all franchises now, they just aren't pumping out great games at the rate they used to. But I don't think that means the series is declining. Odyssey was incredible, and there's no reason to doubt whatever the next 3D Mario will be. The only thing I'm concerned about is the death of Mario RPG games.
