To answer questions

Ben pinged my scumdar by voting for SBell in a somewhat joking way while not really being in joke mode overall. Voting sbell mindlessly feels like a strong scum move here because Sbell has drawn scum in 18 of the past 7 games.
Ulti pinged my scumdar by voting SBell and me feeling Lea's "Ulti was much jollier last few games" attack made sense. Ulti pinged my scumdar again by voting Ben

Haven't really read page 3-5 in depth yet came across those questions early in my catchup and wanted to address (as I will not be fully catching up for another hour or two but wanted to not forget to answer those)

That seems interesting actually and would play well with my current Patriot deck that fills lanes with Mysterios and Squirrels and Rocks.

Yeah how Mysterio is basically "implemented" is he's a stack of 3 cards

So any modifications to cards before being played will hit him and the clones. If you use Okoye you get 5 power Mysterio and 1 Power Illusions. Nakia makes Mysterio 6 and the Illusions 2. Mr Negative I believe makes 2 power Mysterio and 2 power illusions.

However Forge will only hit the real Mysterio because he affects the card once it's played.

IIRC London Mysterio just creates a second real (or fake I suppose if you played the fake one there) Mysterio at another location that looks fake until the end of the game who then reveals as real at endgame. The illusions don't show because you're not playing him from your hand.

I BELIEVE that's how it works. It's been so long since Ive done it and it hasn't cost me a game so I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure that's the mechanic

If Mysterio returns to your hand he becomes a 2/0 illusion card named Mysterio? that won't make illusions when you play it and won't reveal as real or fake at the end of the game. This is true whether it's Luke's Bar, Cloning Vats, Beast, or whatever and it doesn't matter which one returns to your hand, real or fake.

I believe the only way you can get multiple real Mysterios is if you play the real deal on Sinister London or Bar Sinister.

Truth be told I wouldn't even have mentioned EXP had it not been brought up. To me it's just a resource and there can be a scarcity or not, it's not a big deal. You kinda just accept that not every merc will be able to be upgraded and build your team accordingly.

But if you're going to redo it, redo it. I think just giving flat EXP infusions every once in a while for mercs that have been on the team for X weeks as Kamek was kinda saying is probably an elegant enough way to do it.

I'd honestly prefer if mercs got more exp if they were used more.

It's some Pokmon EXP share bs that you just funnel EXP into a dude who just got there. Guys who have been on your team longer should logically have more exp than a guy who just joined. But the way it works now it's irrelevant

Leave exp costs as they are or increase them, leave base EXP generation as it is but give every merc passive exp generation based on whether they were rostered, use abilities, win matches/side topics, how long they're on your team, etc.

I don't agree one overpowered button is all you need. You use the cake as an example but there are a lot of times where the cake isn't what you want-- it all depends on what the match scenarios are.

Versatility does matter. Especially in a game where slots are a premium.

If you NEED abundant preselects on a 41 option RNG merc I think the merc is not well designed anyway and re-evaluating the other underlying mechanics should be considered.

Yeah I don't think you should be able to preselect period tbh with something with that many options. M4 CATS let you do it with a lot of options but it was limited use (basically limited use 2 if you picked the good ones) and had a long recharge. It also had 1/3 the options Darknite has.

You should be able to do a redraw or something. Or give it some sort of limitation on how often it can be used.

Imo Cyberdemon SHOULD be a 4/week as I would take most 4/weeks to kill him 1v1 (and 5/weeks do so without any issue) but I definitely feel he was getting 5/week respect for sure

I think Batman wasn't in a good team to utilize his potential. I think Rika was redundant with him as Batman is going to get good planning respect without more tries and he needed more firepower than Mega Man to back him up.

Yes but I had to make the read on the play Turn 5 before Hobgoblin was there due to Infininaut needing a dead turn.

Turn 5 was basically just me nodding and saying "yes it is all going as I have foreseen it"

This was a very fun read on Galactus. Was very close with Wolverine playing ping pong twice but Infininaut clutches it out.
