Yeah part of why I use Zero to power down fellas like Ebony Maw with ongoings! Zap them of their power and make them no ability cards.

Supposedly if you use Proton you can get Renowned Explorers to work on the Steam Deck.

I don't know how any of that works though.

I mean you can compliment your enemies to death. It's pretty great. It's a challenging game though, but it feels so satisfying when you get to the end of the adventure.

The Cult of the Lamb was number one for me since it's that crazy rogue-like nonsense I love.

Neon White is a game I was excited to check out. Also seems like my brand of crazy.

GRIS is the artsy kind of game that I love breezing through.

Golfing With Friends is a fun little game I would love to bust out with some friends.

And then Metro: Last Light. For when I want to turn my brain off and shoot ugly things.

Maybe it's just me but a game this simple doesn't feel like it should have 5-10 tech cards that completely counter another card.

Goblin is just a soft counter from him being able to drop some busted combo with Odin or something.

You should be getting countered if you try to do a plan with no less than 3 cards that is basically auto-win.

Nope! It only doubles the On Reveal if it is played on his side, so Goblins just float over and take up a spot.

I'll do this too with Aero in my alt deck. Aero in general ruins so many very obvious location-based plans and it's satisfying to pull off.

I never lose to Leader with my Ultron deck, mostly because bots don't get anything back from the Patriot and Kazar buffs.

I'd try to make a deck where they can't benefit as much from whatever 6 energy card you drop.

My earliest horror memory was of A Nightmare on Elm Street. I slept on the floor for a week after seeing Freddy dragged Johnny Depp into his bed and turned him into a blood geyser.

Fast forward and it's one of my favorite horror movies of all time now!

Nah McLaurin was absolutely robbed here. You can see the ref nodding his head the second time and speaking. Terry said in the post-game interview that he heard the ref audibly tell him that he was fine the second time.

No, only cards played. Which means her effect would work on your end too though.

Oh man Zero rules. When he nullifies anyone's powers, Patriot buffs them too. So if I use it on Ebony Maw or Storm, they get +2 as well.

Uuuuuusually.

Basically, Patriot and Kazar do the heavy lifting and buffing. I usually don't build around Ultron being there until he's in my hand, then I just make sure to fill in one spot with 3 cards and let him loose.

I had two games in a row that I didn't draw Patriot or Kazar at all, and one even had Limbo. That was a lot more difficult for me to win than no Ultron.

Decided to add Zero to my Ultron deck over Squirrel Girl because he can nullify Ebony Maw, has 3 power, and he can be used before any of my many no-power cards. And because Squirrel Girl is redundant with Ultron's powers.

Gonna see Violent Night on Saturday. Excited for it!

Binged the whole thing today--it was a breezy watch. Kids will probably adore it a lot more, but it's pretty funny. The standout is that the animation is awesome. Great, great, great action and even simple stuff like emoting during talking is so well-done.

Only half of it has been released, as the usual for a Netflix series nowadays, but what they have out is fun and has a solid premise. It's surprisingly good at having individual stories for the characters too.

If you like Sonic check it out.

So I just unlocked Absorbing Man, and with my Ultron deck I was wondering if I should replace Kazar with him to play after Patriot.

Kazar Pros: +1 to Ultron Bots, Squirrel Girl, Ant-Man, and Ebony Maw; can also be place turn 5; 4 power

Absorbing Man Pros: +2 to Ultron Bots, Squirrels, and all of my no-ability cards; must be played after Patriot; 3 power

I usually end up playing Patriot turn 3, then Kazar turn 4 if I have them, and then on occasion I play Kazar turn 5, but it seems rare I ever do.

Then it's debatable if I even need Squirrel Girl or if I can replace her with someone else too, since she won't get a buff and Ultron Bots are the same as squirrels anyway.

It is not. It's definitely it's own universe, but it seems to draw nearly everything from the comics lore of things. The only exception I've noticed is that Tony Stark appears to have created Ultron in this universe, which I was a bit annoyed by, but aside from that it seems 100% inspired by the comics.

No but she talks about him sometimes. Mostly that her brother is annoying and is constantly asking her if she has been getting enough sleep and stuff. She talks about Kitty too, saying she was one of the only friends she made because she was so aggressively trying to be her friend she couldn't resist anymore.

There's soooo many references though. Moon Knight is constantly on their hero ops (off-screen missions), Ultron is referenced a few times, Kamala Khan is referenced as an annoying fan girl that wants to get deets on the Midnight Suns, Scarlet Witch has given shout outs to her brother Piotro, stories about Loki and Asgard are in the library, Nico is constantly referencing the Runaways.

Honestly if you're super into Marvel you'll be delighted by just simple references that they put in there. Tons of love in it for all things Marvel.
