How in the world were you able to buff your fighting spirit? I've never gotten any level up tokens for them.

So alright, yeah. Scream VI is amazing. It's currently having a franchise record for opening night. Everything good is happening with this franchise. Easy top 3 for me. It makes me so happy because I thought with Wes Craven gone they wouldn't be able to bring this franchise to what makes it so special, but they have. It's a movie that doesn't give you soulless sequels and instead shows love to the series. It doesn't need to reinvent everything, but it just needs to use all of the tools already there to deliver something that people love and continue to subvert expectations in a satisfying way. And it does that on so many levels.

So yeah, this film is great. The opening was great this time and was just so damn clever. Loved how they played with it, and I loved the stinger at the end of it. The characters were all amazing and I think this is the best acted movie of the franchise. Everyone brought their A-game and nobody underdelivered for even a second.

I was floored at the reveals, and I kept running into my head who it could be. And then we get the reveal, monologue, and it's all just wonderful. The action and kills (or "kills") in this are so damn good. They keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The tension is palpable and the director is a master of making these scenes every bit as nail-biting as possible. They just find a way to make this movie one of the best that Scream has to offer in every good way.

And Gale Weathers, love her or hate her, is great. She's flawed, selfish, ego-driven, and she's constantly teetering the edge of it. She knows she plays a dangerous game and that she's probably the one who deserves to die the most of anyone else, but she's a fighter to the end. She's fascinating and her character continues to subvert everything you'd expect.

The script on this was outstanding too. I loved the dialogue here. Nothing felt overly cheesy or anything and a lot of the Ghost Face dialogue was probably the best it's ever been, and this may be Roger L. Jackson's best showing too to supplement that.

So yeah, go see Scream VI. I positively loved this one and was shocked how much I loved it. I definitely consider it up there with 1 and 2.

So I don't play on the high end. Just super casual. But what is the deal with Leech? Everyone seems to be melting down over him as of late.

I think you can do slight nerfs to make him less effective but still incredibly strong and not be an issue. But it's hard for gacha, yeah.

Bison would be fine if he spent more time down before reviving. It's just that you can kill him on Combo Open and then Combo 2, he'll already be revived and in your way before you can take out the next character.

Edit: What sucks is that I went through the entirely of 10 no problem until 10-40 which feels insurmountable.

The Global Operation I'm stuck on Frozen Cave, the fight before the final boss theres this crazy Gen that wiped out my party. I can't even imagine the actual boss

I made a big event and a big deal (and a big stream) out of me finally buckling down and drawing more characters and promoting some of my units, which only ended up being Fei Long and Guile

I'm ALREADY stuck again after that. I DO have the means to help myself at this time, I have almost 10k diamonds and around 130 arcade tokens, but I'm starting to see this is gonna be happening way more often than before

I still want to do it a bit at a time and coast for as long as I can, IDK its just against my nature IRL to just WASTE everything at once, I'm too frugal for that, even if it comes to games

I got stuck on Gen originally, but once I took him down with casualties, I was able to use Mad Ryu to beast through the last boss. I don't think I even wiped on the last enemy. I don't remember it being an issue.

Now the next Operation absolutely fucking sucks. I've ended up having my main squad getting wiped on the second part. They're all 132-140. Everyone is S, no S+. So I may have hit my wall.

Also, I'm on 140 for the Supreme Fist. Can't beat it though yet.

I feel like I'm the only one who has still seen From here, but the season 2 trailer looks amazing. Big recommend for everyone! Quality horror show!

Two Mad Ryus is a sick joke and I need to wait another day for a mercenary. Maybe grab Beast Gief or something. I can't even take down the Abel in point though.

Stuck on 9-40 with two Combat Guiles and an E. Honda on point. lol This one is absurd. I can't even use a mercenary for it yet.

I'm still using Abel, Adon, Chun-Li, and Cammy, but I've switched out for Hakan when I need a second heavy which has worked shockingly well. My only S ranks are Abel, Adon, and Hakan. Working towards getting Abel and Adon to 140 though.

Yeah, T. Hawk is like the worst tank ever. I don't know what they were thinking with him. Abel is rocking it for me, until he isn't. 120 is the level cap for A+ ranks. I got Adon to S rank and I can get him to 140 now, but I have awful luck when trying to draw any of my other main squad.

I did the Battle Royale mode and ran into an M. Bison. That character is absolutely busted. Why did they think that was a good idea? He just resurrects and damages you ever time he gets taken down, and he's always on point. It doesn't even give you enough downtime to keep damaging other folks. Just completely busted.

Some of the fights get really brutal.

I'm currently running Abel, Adon, Cammy, Chun-Li and I'm stuck on 6-40. I just get crushed by the C. Viper and Dhalsim there. I can get it down to two right now.

I hope the climax of the movie just involves the survivors getting so good they can flashlight troll the killer constantly until the killer leaves.

I can't in good conscience support this film unless they've fixed matchmaking first.

I've had success with OKCupid. Not sure how it is post-pandemic now though.

I tried it, then almost immediately uninstalled it when I realised how little input there is during battles. It claimed to be an RPG, I was expecting strategy!

Also, my one aim going into it was to get Chun-Li as my main character, and it looks like she's behind a paywall.

Chun-Li is not behind a paywall, you can get her in drops but she's very rare.

I'm also a pretty big SF fan but the gameplay I saw during Capcom Cup looked pretty bad. Mobile games that are exclusively PVP have a much higher risk of devolving into P2W I feel.

How focused do you need to be during a match?

I literally only use Auto mode, so not very focused at all. lol There is also only one PVP mode from what I can tell. Everything else is PVE.

I just started playing it. Pretty fun for a passive mobile game. Not incredibly taxing. Doesn't feel p2w yet. But I'm a big Street Fighter fan so I had to give it a shot.

I can confirm yes. I use it to throw a Juggernaut there often if it looks like it will cause some damage. They usually rage quit after that though. Lol

Oh shit, yes. Love and Thunder. I hated that film I almost removed the name of it from my mind entirely.

Just saw Quantumania! I thought it was really good, but had some issues.

First, I think the first half of this movie was really lacking. Just a lot of meandering around. A lot of "Janet what is happening?" "I don't want to talk about it." A lot of getting to know these random freedom fighters. A lot of stuff that frankly doesn't land nearly as well. There definitely could have been something else they did with this film.

Second, the moment Jonathan Majors comes into the picture as Kang, the movie gets so much better. That dude killed it. Loved everything about Kang. I've never been a huge Kang fan, but he was perfect here. Totally sold on Kang in future movies. Keep that outfit though, for the love of god. Everything about it was perfect.

MODOK was everything I wanted and needed. Give me goofy fucking MODOK. I feel he was very underutilized, but for what we got of a MODOK adaptation I was happy with it. I wish he had managed to make it out of the Quantumverse though. He would've been fun to play around with in the future. I thought his betrayal of Kang was kinda sudden. I feel like they should have built it up more.

I feel like Wasp was underutilized, even though the best action scenes continue to be with her. I feel like a lot of the family stuff didn't feel as cozy as the previous films either.

The action in the last part of the movie was outstanding though. Just everything I'd want from a movie like this. I kinda loved the super sophisticated ants part where they just overtake Kang. It looked totally rad.

But holy hell did I ever miss Luis and the other characters from the previous two movies. You're telling me you could fit in the Baskin Robbins guy in the movie twice, but you couldn't find a spot for Luis? What is that? I think they could have found a way to include a lot of the characters with a re-write. Maybe make it so only some characters were in the Quantum realm at first, while the others aren't and need to get help from Luis and others? Just a scene or two of Cassie with her mom and step dad? Hell, get Luis sucked in there somehow. He can just hang out with Hank a lot on the ship or something. There had to be something they could do to improve that first half, because man.

Aside from that, I kind of wish it had more humor. For as much as people dunk on Marvel for being too joke-y, Ant-Man of all things seemed like it toned it down a lot. There's scenes dedicated to jokes with random characters, and some MODOK stuff, but overall it seemed really toned down on the humor.

I don't think it really deserved the critical beat down it got. Definitely nowhere near the worst of the MCU movies. Definitely better than the vast majority of the TV offerings. I enjoyed it more than Thor Ragnarok, that's for sure. And I think I'd argue it was better than Wakanda Forever too.

Damn I had just enough pixel cards to field a team. I guess Lizard, Mysterio, Domino, and Ultron look kinda cool.

I will retain the lowest expectations for the story.

But will remain excited for the gameplay.

I just don't understand why this game is involved in the Arkham Verse? What is there to tie it in a side from a few side characters? Even Harley seems totally different and more like a more annoying Margot Robbie version. It's just a completely different tone too with apocalypse doomsday level stuff whereas Batman Arkham Verse was all one city.

It's just bizarre. Make it its own universe. There's just no reason for this.

There's so much I don't like and so much I'm alright with. But I am so tired of games where you just find loot to give your gun slightly bigger numbers. I'd love to play this for Captain Boomerang and the story but it feels like such a weird game.

Also Harley Quinn is going to be so annoying in this. And as much as I would love to support Captain Boomerang in a game I am very skeptical of this. Especially if it's another battle pass game.

i think jubilee and lockjaw are completely fine together. you can send the 1 power body of jubilee back into your deck and get something out of your deck instead. think of it as paying 4 energy for 2 lockjaw proc's

and your deck is already designed to be pulling big things out, jubilee can also do that in a different lane

But you can pull something big out from your deck with less cost using Lockjaw, meaning you can pull multiple things out. And playing Jubilee there means one less Lockjaw use you get. Why bother playing Jubilee in another lane for lower cost when you have Lockjaw at 3 + whatever you play there, for two activations, getting more on return than Jubilee, easy.

Jubilee is just a waste with Lockjaw. You can just put a lower cost card in there for better return.

Lockjaw and Jubilee suck together. Cards summoned by Jubilee don't trigger Lockjaw and that's one less card you can play with there. And you already have an effective pull from your deck power with Lockjaw that's frankly much better, so it makes no sense to include both.

At the very least, I'd consider adding her to one of my Lockjaw Discard decks. Seems like a really good option to have.

Yeah, my location was filled and I revealed second.

With movement cards like Aero or Juggs, if their turn is first, they'll still play their on reveal first. But if you play first, move them first before they activate. A lot of times with Kingpin, I'll play Aero or Juggs and they'll destroy their card without even flipping.
