It's otherwise a pretty solid typing. Flying gives it weaknesses to electric (4x!) and rock, but also an immunity to ground and resists to Fighting and Bug and negating its grass weakness, while Water negates its ice weakness. Combined with its water-typing, this gives a Ground immunity and resistances to Fighting, Bug, Fire, Water, and Steel. Combined with its excellent Intimidate ability, this makes it pretty resilient towards physical attacks in general despite its mediocre base 79 defense. Combined with 95 base HP and 100 Sp. Def, it's a pretty durable 'mon that can nonetheless hit hard and has enough speed to utilize Dragon Dance very well. And it actually has a great physical movepool. Crunch is an obvious choice if you plan on Mega-Evolving it, but there's also Stone Edge, Earthquake, Waterfall, Outrage, Dragon Tail, and Iron Head.

Ive been re-reading the discworld novels, so probably Night Watch.

Murakami is amazing. Have you read Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World? Its an absolute favourite and one of my top 5 ever.

That was my first Murakami, and once I work through some of my backlog, I would definitely like to read some more.

I took my studs out yesterday...or, more accurately, my girlfriend did. I wore cute dangly earrings for the first time in my life and got super choked up from how euphoric that was, especially with her. She's been much more physical too: she wants to touch me and does so confidently: lots of squeezing and rubbing, like when I rested my head on her shoulder and she stroked my cheek, or how she grabbed me, pulled me to her, and rubbed my tummy.

I was freaking out today because I couldn't get my earrings in (probably I had the angle wrong and poked not-hole) and she spent the entire afternoon calming me down. God, I love her, she loves me, I'm tispy and rambling, I'm sorry, I hope Lina fed you well and you didn't have to eat her Amber.

I'm sorry, none of this sounds fun. One of my coworkers was talking about how she enjoyed being pregnant and wishes she could afford another child (she has three) so she could do it again, and I had to put a lot of effort into not looking at her like she's crazy because she is just the sweetest little thing.

If I wasn't a trans woman, I would take the voice in a heartbeat. I'm still tempted as it is!

I'm overflowing with love for my girlfriend. There was about a month plus where we didn't see each other because I kept getting sick (she's immunocompromised and really cautious, as she should be) and then *she* got sick (UTI), but we finally got back to seeing each other last week, and it's different.

We talked a lot about our relationship in our time apart, about how we both want to be partners and get married, and shit's different now. She touches me more, and she holds or squeezes. One time yesterday, she wrapped one arm around me, pulled me in a little and nuzzled against me while rubbing my tummy with her other hand, it was great. We were video-chatting with a friend of mine who lives cross-country (we all laughed a ton, it was great), and I was in a shorter chair than her(rendering me temporarily the shorter), so I spontaneously put my head on her shoulder and she wrapped an arm around me and stroked my cheek.

She also helped me get my studs out, and walked me through putting earrings on. It was magical to share that bit of euphoria with her.

She also bitched about this dude she's seeing (it's a poly thing) and how impractical and unreasonable he is, after talking about how grounded I am and how I have my shit together (well, at least one of us thinks so!). Like, she's been with me almost the entire time I've been out of the closet. She was the first person to call me a sexy woman. I never want this to end.

Next week is her birthday, so I bought a ticket to a digital Faye Webster concert and we're going to watch that together. Or, at least, listen to it.

It would be a table of power-gamers. Trump would be petulant and angry and blame everything on King Charles III (who deserves to DM this shitshow, fuck the Windsors) rigging stuff against him.

Walked up one, and took shelter in a divot on the side of another for an impromptu picnic. It was cold, windy, and overcast. Totally magical.

I dont know many people whore religious, but my old pastor and his wife (also now a pastor at the same church) are both objectively brilliant people.
And objectively lovely people, to boot. Liberal Protestant denominations like the UCC tend to be pretty good.

Is it possible our conception of gender is shaped by how the outside world perceives us instead of being something thats internally formed? I think if society always treated and perceived me as the opposite gender of what I am now since my birth then I would've been ok with seeing myself as that gender as well. I feel like character traits like being courageous or honest are more internally formed and deeper part of one's identity than gender is which seems to be more externally derived except in minority of cases

You do understand that when you put the ability to govern what people say in the hands of the government, youve lost all control of any type of dissent, right?

Just because you agree with the current administrations take on hate speech and civil rights doesnt mean you should willingly give the government more power to erode your freedoms in the future, because they gladly will.

I don't know, it kind of seems better to punish hate speech than to pretend it's harmless and allow it to become a festerous cancer in the body politic that threatens to bring down the entire system. It's probably better than allowing it to escalate into genocidal state policy and violence.

And, of course, such state censorship and state violence have always been leveled against the left and not the right in this country.

Especially when you're talking about a country where the harshest prison is probably a far sight nicer than a minimum security American prison.

That's a depressingly common trope that cis people who make films about trans women (and it's virtually always trans women) constantly reinforce.

Its a shame, he was a pretty good Superman, but the movies did him a disservice (IIRC, Spiderman has more lines in Civil War than Supes does in the theatrical cut of Batman vs. Superman) and WB spent so much time dithering on what to do and wasted everyones time. Snyder wasnt the greatest pick, but they would have been better off committing to him and his vision than doing what they did.

In the end, their first attempt at a DC cinematic universe amounted to a mess.

She seems pretty happy these days, but it doesnt sound like she wants to make music (much) anymore. She just wants to post shit on Instagram: soft inspirational stuff, rants, dancing videos, and barely-censored nudes, mostly; and live her life.

Went to Rosemary Square shopping center in the evening. Bought some cute shoes - my very first pair of Mary Janes!

Also got a very modest bikini with a skirt like bottom that works with my belly.

We overheard a guy talking with his wife about the same sex marriage bill, with him saying "I guess they're gonna try to normalize being gay aren't they?" So we walked in front of him and had a giant french kiss in full view. It kinda turned me on. I love being gay.
