The more sales the game gets, the better for them and future products. Ignoring the quandary of whether one wants to support JKR in any capacity or not, every sale will objectively help the developers.

Out of all things in all religions, it is so weird that we focus on this one in particular as the ultimate taboo of taboos to always cater to just because some insane freaks have committed acts of terror over it. Instead of giving them that power, fuck them and fuck their sensibilities. For the vast majority of Muslims who aren't insane, they can get over it. It's completely fair if an institution wants to give warnings, but they should otherwise expect no other special care in a secular society.

The concept of the show seems so weird in the first place. Recontextualizing the main character is one thing, but it seems like most everything is so radically different that it just feels like it's basically just stealing the clout from an existing IP for the sake of propping up something that couldn't get greenlit on its own merit.

maybe you would have a point if the story didnt end with the guy coming out with a gun and threatening to kill a family
It's hard to judge that part without knowing what was going on at that exact moment. All we seem to have are the words of the parents, who are hardly going to be neutral to the situation. The guy could be a trigger-happy nutjob with zero sympathy for the kid, or he could have legitimately felt threatened by the parents at that moment. The parents are going to be furious regardless of the circumstances, so him being on edge due to that is hardly out of the question.

I'm confused as to how any blame can be put on the dog owner unless he was there illegally. Sounds like it's just a shitty set of circumstances where nobody can really be blamed other than the kid maybe using bad judgment depending on if he's familiar to the normal occupants of the home or a complete stranger.

But apparently it's a common one that people fall for?
I guess the first thought might be the court of public opinion. Even if you did nothing wrong, being accused of being a pedo can be pretty damaging to your social circle. But the person would have to think it's actually a real threat first.

Do I really need to answer this? Amazon can afford to shut a facilty down for one day to show they care and hire temps when production resumes.
Why does a facility with millions of square feet need to be closed for a medical death? They absolutely 100% screwed up by allowing any employees within distance of the area and actively trying to work around a tragedy, but otherwise it's silly to send however many of hundreds of people home just for that. Nobody other than upper management should have been allowed within 100 feet of the scene. Anyone greatly impacted should be offered time off and counseling. Short of a horrible accident or a murder, that's really all that needs to happen in such a large space.

You can objectively measure how much a fandom takes to a certain piece of media and how much that resonates with wider society culturally. You have niche things that only superfans get into, and you have stuff like Star Wars that resonates everywhere in American culture. Avatar probably doesn't have many niche fans, and it hasn't resonated with people aside from being super pretty.
