It would be possible to group up in a cult-like fashion, but I dont think there are any such actual groups in existence to use atheism is their main selling point. In terms of outspoken or smarmy people, they definitely exist, but the reasons for their combativeness are usually fairly different. Trying to compare that to religion which is much more unified is kind of pointless.

If you're going with realistic physics, any human-ish enemy should go down to a bullet or three in the head.

Seems to represent the generic middle of the road actor, so whatever causes people to hate Nickelback or Imagine Dragons. While not actually generic, they seem like a easy way to dog pile on hating what the public views as generic.

I don't think it matters much at all what she received in relation to other mothers, it matters more what she received in relation to 50 and his means to provide. I don't think the activities of the mother gives 50 a pass for being a deadbeat.

There's multiple issues you're conflating.
A. The amount of money a mother should receive in child support legally.
B. The amount of money a mother should receive in child support morally.
C. The amount of money needed to sustainably care for a child.
D. The lifestyle of the child in relation to the money the mother is receiving.

The father's portion is A and B. A being fulfilled means one has fulfilled one's duty as a parent. It doesn't mean they're a good parent. Fulfilling B would make him a better parent but still a shitty parent if he spends no time with the child.

The mother's portion is C and D. Was she spending it all on herself? Was she spending most of it on the kid's care somehow? Was she saving it for his future? Were they living just fine but expecting to live the life of a millionaire? If they were somehow living in poverty, she's a shitty mother. If they were living a normal life but just not that of a millionaire, they're just jealous.

Because the mother received more child support than 99.999% of single mothers and somehow that wasn't enough for them. So either they're both just out of touch and jealous, or the mother wasted all that money.

Nah, meat is too tasty and individual choice doesn't impact anything to do with the treatment of animals or environmental concerns.

Rather than none at all, they really should be trying to introduce a healthy balance where they have control and a trusting relationship with the child. Worst case, youre building resentment that will pop up later in life. Best case, they are just accessing it away from you and thus its just a waste of time.

In that kind of case, it should really be going into a trust account and the other parent should have to provide actual reasons to use the money after like the first 10-20% is used up. Giving the parent unfettered access to that much money pretty much guarantees it won't actually make it to the child, if both parents aren't of similar financial status.

This gen's mega/z-move/Dynamax. It gives them a different type and makes them look horribly ugly.

Looking better than S&S, but still vastly under where this series should be even considering hardware limitations. That fucking framerate on that flower race or whatever it is.

I'm rather curious exactly how many people have the means to purchase a possibly unnecessary device capable of playing it and a stable enough internet connection, but don't have enough money for something much more essential like a phone. It's still a dumb decision by Blizzard, but this feels like complaining about a demographic that probably doesn't exist.

When we're talking about romance, not really. I don't blanch in disgust at two guys being intimate, but it's also about as appealing as watching two fat people go at it. You have to be able to invest in the emotions of the characters. If it's just something like "James Bond but he's gay," then it shouldn't really matter because the romance is just a side thing and not majorly relevant to the plot.

Currently 211 at 5'11. I think like 170-180 would be my thin weight, but I've pretty much maintained 200-210 for a decade at this point, annoyingly.

Expecting it to do particularly well seems kind of like a pipe dream in the first place. Targeting a fairly narrow audience.

Definitely happy in most circumstances. If theres any tragedy to be found, it should be earlier in the story to drive towards the happy ending. If the games setting is purposefully bleak, then other kinds of endings may lend themselves better to their conclusion.

Definitely Mass Effect 3. It's the culmination of 3 games that promised that your choices would matter, only to throw it all away for three choices of pretty lights and then some meh exposition after everyone complained about the pretty lights.

Eh, it's up to the job. Having to deal with the bullshit that comes from two people having broken up can be really annoying depending on how closely they work.

That short tidbit from the trailer is significantly different from his character in Loki.

I mean just his overall way of being. The difference seems more between giving a shit and not giving a shit after billions of years, more so than being from different universes. Obviously, that's only half a minute of dialogue, so he could end up being more imposing. But just from that, he feels more like a Loki than a Thanos.

The guy from Loki really doesn't have the charisma to have the feel of a major villain. Maybe he'll switch up the style as another version of him in another story, but so far both showings seem to be about the same.

There's CGI in everything. You only notice it when it sticks out, that's why you hate it.

I don't think there's a single animation studio that has mastered the art of main focus CGI yet. From Japan to America, it all looks terribly out of place when mixed with animation and meh when done on its own. Some have made non-offensive use in terms of background stuff, but that really doesn't matter.

The general utility of AI will eventually phase out a lot of the bottom tier, commission-only artists, but it will probably be a good while before it can match what extraordinarily good artists can put out. Though, who knows how quick this stuff will develop. Could be completely wrong and next year we'll see the first game with entirely AI generated art. I fear the day when they start making AI-generated mobile games and flood the market with them even more than the current trash.

God, I hate that argument so much. Its like when people try to argue Zelda is an RPG series when it is clearly a co-op driving game with lite city planning elements.

Given the scope of what he fights, it only makes sense to have massive trust in him. Something like Batman has a higher amount of relatively more tame villains on average, so people having trust in the police to be able to take them out makes slightly more sense. One well placed bullet to the head could kill a high amount of them, but most Spider-Mans foes pretty much trivialize manpower and bullets.
