These warehouses aren't tiny bodegas with 5 people on staff at a time. They're thousands of square feet with hundreds of people at any given moment. All of those people weren't working with or even near the deceased person. People lose their friends all the time and they're not entitled to time off of work for it. If that person was a family member then sure, but if it's just the dude you nod your head to when you pass by in the hallway on occasion then why would you need time off if he passed?
