Is scum IGCD bold enough to blantantly link himself to his roleblocker right out of the gate? Maybe, but doesn't seem like the best strategy. Either way, it's in line with town IGCD
I mean, roleblocker is usually the strongest scum role. Bussing them in case they flip early but also trying to keep them alive in the same vein isn't uncommon.

I used to bus the roleblocker specifically as scum just because people would do the opposite of what I said anyways.

Idk. It seems a bit too obvious Plum is scum atm.

I sincerely apologize for my erroneous read on Ulti. I thought his claim made him town, and I thought I knew what he was trying. His demeanor towards me and Lea early was something he would do as scum, but not out of the norm of his town play either.

Either way. I was wrong.

That said, Plum's trying to tie me to Ulti repeatedly because I said Ulti was town once (as I did Sbell and Mzero) is weird. It appears to be very much a reach and also a made up argument to shade upon Ulti flip.

I have thoughts of who is town, but I wanna look things over again before I state it tomorrow.

Bro I literally said in that post you quoted that it wasn't a strong town read. I said you were town-ish, and that's true. I was getting some vibes of your town persona when you decided to townclear Lea so early on (and maybe Red, too? I forget what else you did around that time), but nothing extremely strong. Like I said, you didn't really do much to ping my scumdar, so I put you in the "neutral but slight town lean" pile.

I forgot I even asked you that tbh. I asked that... like, what, earlier this afternoon? Don't think you posted anything since then until evening my time. If you had been more active around that time, perhaps I would've been bothered, but, like, so much happened afterward that I'm really not sure what kind of "gotcha" you're expecting to have here.

I think you're overexaggerating how much I've "defended" you. I "defended" you against Lopen because I didn't quite understand his vote and where it came from. I also mentioned that you replaced in to Star Trek Mafia late as "defense". But... that's it, I'm pretty sure. Don't think I've really talked much about you this game, so you seem to be drawing a hefty conclusion off of just a few data points.

OMGUS is likely getting in the way here, but I can't tell if you're confidently incorrect town or just scum trying to get the drop on me before I could make a solid read on you.

Well it did make me raise my eyebrow. But IIRC you and Peaf already commented on it, so I didn't have anything new to add, really. By the time I saw that post from Death, anyway, I was already doing catch-up leading up to me yelling at Sbell for his whole stint with Ulti.

I do want to point out (since you were poking fun at me using this term) that me saying "raw intuition" was a bit of a subtle joke that only Ben and other FFXIV players would get. "Raw Intuition" is the name of a skill for Warriors in FFXIV, which is also the class that Ben mains. But really, it was just me saying, "I don't how I pick up on your scum behavior; it just happens." Pretty sure I said as much in the Paper Mario afterparty when Ben was grumbling about still not being able to figure out how to slip past me as scum lol

---

I promise I've been trying to do less walls, but what else am I to do when I see back-to-back messages pointing the finger at me. May as well address them in one post. I only hope this one is at least easy to read.

In terms of finding real people and getting matches, Match is probably the best, but it's also very expensive and unless things have changed from when I was on it, you basically have to pay for each feature separately, and the total package was some absolutely asinine price that nobody should ever be desperate enough to pay.
That's actually what makes match and eharmony the most attractive apps because people who paid the price are more likely to be serious and actually date.

Just watch about falling into the trap of people who just want pen pals and don't actually want to ever meet. And ofc misleading pictures.

In fact, last I heard, the last thing the regulators said was they would only allow the merger to go through if Microsoft DIDN'T get CoD exclusivity.
It said they have to divest COD as a structural remedy or if they could provide behavioral remedies that were satisfactory to them. This is an attempt to provide behavioral remedies.

Honestly I don't care if they use the food stamps for other things. The government should stop with the pretense they are for food only and just give cash assistance. You can't expect people to break out of the cycle of poverty if they aren't treated with the dignity, respect, and agency they deserve as players in the free market economy.
I think the government doesn't want to be so directly supporting illegal drugs / whatever. They want to be satisfied they provided you with food to not starve to death.

I think there isn't an understanding that there are millions of Americans who don't do politics. They vote on election day and otherwise don't pay attention

Those people can have wildly different views than the party they vote for. That's where the 3% of Democrats who want to ban abortion in all cases or whatever you see in polls
You don't have to support every issue to support democrats. It's not a team game. And vice versa. That's the ends. The middle balance positions on multiple things and vote what they feel is most important to them.

A lot of abortion voters are single issue voters.

I for one believe in just very limited abortion, but it's such a minor issue to me that I don't care much or let it sway my decision voting one way or the other.

Let me make this diagram for yinz again.

Left---------------------|--------------------Right
XXXXXxxx x x x x x x x x xxxXXXXX

This is American politics. Basically. Two extreme polarized ends some towards the mjddle of their sides and sparsely across the center stragglers.

The GOP draws from voters from the beginning of the x x x to the very right. While the Dems grab from the very left to the end of the x x x.

It is understood American politics is polarized (and comparing it to left and right of other countries is pointless. Arguably democrats are to the right if you go by such metrics).

He said how can you be in the middle of the spectrum if you support the GOP.

He also asked to discuss about some that could be center of left that support the GOP.

Obviously the further you go left and right the less crossovers you have, but they exist.

Whooooooo Im so hyped we get to talk about these studies again. Using the one written about and linked here:

https://www.vox.com/platform/amp/policy-and-politics/21449634/republicans-supreme-court-gop-trump-authoritarian

Here is a comparison of parties in liberal democracies in terms of how economically left/right (x) socially liberal/conservative (y) they are:
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/3/7/3/AAEfmDAAEKct.jpg

You will notice the GOP all the way in the top right. This means that they are one of the most right-wing parties in the world in both social and economic terms. They are comparable to Le Pens party in France, Vox in Spain, the Finns Party in Finland, and EKRE in Estonia among others. You know what these parties have in common? They are all widely considered as far-right parties.

Now lets look at respect for/undermining democracy (x) vs. support for/opposition to minority rights (y):

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/3/7/4/AAEfmDAAEKcu.jpg

Once again the Republicans are one of the worst in the world for both, comparable to Turkeys AKP and Polands PiS. Both of which are strongly authoritarian parties.

Lastly, lets see how their voters compare to the expert scores in the study (above the line means voters self-identify as more right wing):

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/3/7/5/AAEfmDAAEKcv.jpg
So GOP voters also self-identify as being very far to the right.

In conclusion, and in light of the many other studies showing similar, the Republicans are a far-right party, not a centre-right or even just right wing party. In fact, they are one of the most extreme mainstream parties in the world right now. So to put it another way Corrik is wrong.
Incorrect. I didn't claim what you just said I claimed.

And I have never presented myself as an enlightened centrist. I have said I am a centrist and a very moderate conservative / slightly leaning conservative. I have never said I am not a registered republican. Hence, why I mentioned I would probably vote for Nikki in the republican primary. I can't vote for non Republicans or other primaries. Our state had a closed primary.

The "enlightened centrist" mockery has come because I have said you guys in general are polarized on extreme ends, like most of Americans in politics, and that you view things as team red vs team blue, while I do not because I am barely right of center on the spectrum.

i definitely feel like you've always presented yourself as an enlightened centrist in this topic, yeah. you would say shit like "the people in this topic accuse me of being right-wing while my girlfriend accuses me of being left-wing lol."

but if you admit that you're on the right now, that's cool.
I have always been a registered republican, and I always lay barely just right of center.

We have done how many political tests that show exactly that. It doesn't mean I don't have views that are further right on areas. I do. But I also have views that could be considered left wing. Thus where I balance out at.

That's the great things about people towards the center. We don't play for a team. We analyze every view and decide which one makes more sense to us, no matter who the view comes from. I could give a shit less who the party affiliation is of a person when a view of an issue is presented. I tend to agree with Republicans on more. But not on some things.

Not only is the brand toxic because they're all literal traitors, but getting more conservative as you age depends on having capital that you want to protect. Look at corrik, he's a prime example of someone who doesn't have much (relatively) but is obsessed with making sure he keeps it.
Obsessed.
