Yeah I played it at launch and it was so incomplete and it felt insulting to be asked to pay DLC to get the complete game so I never did. Have no desire to. Now you can get the royal edition but at the time they would trickle content over long periods of time and nickel and dime you for it.

Been to Oahu and Kauai twice, Maui once. Would love to go back. We went last year when my daughter was 5 months but it was easier because she was still in potato mode. We thought of going back this year but its hard to travel with her at this age (20 months).

As someone with a huge extended family this is really sad to me. I have a bunch of degrees of cousins and we all just call each other cousins and act like first cousins. Weird to think because you dont have enough blood that they arent still family. My closest family are my moms cousins 2 daughters. Theyre like sisters to me.

I have a cousin once removed who is a big fashion designer in NYC and hes done custom dresses for some celebrities. Were not close but I follow him on SM and its just fun to see the stuff he designs. Im always rooting for him.

If he was remorseful and ready to put in the work to go to regain my trust, go to therapy, etc I would try to for the sake of our family. If he wasnt remorseful then Id leave.

Wtf. Why does the mom even have to be unavailable for the dad to be able to bathe his kid? My husband gives our daughter her bath/shower most of the time.

Well at least they did the right thing in letting her go. Dont feel like you have to do her job either. Thats for the company to figure out. At this point they need you more than you need them. Its important to learn boundaries and letting them know you arent going to take on more than you're able to. Work your 9-5 and nothing more. It's a lesson I've had to learn.

Seriously fuck daycare Im starting to regret ever putting her in. Weve been sick nonstop since and now Ive broken into a rash on my hands and feet that hurts and is annoying. When she was home she never got sick. I know its for the best and it would happen anyway once she started school but this just blows. The worst is this shit is so horrible but I still need to work (started a new job) and take care of her since she cant go to daycare now.

Im so sorry for your loss. I lost my grandma around thanksgiving a couple of years back and it was so rough.

My family at first didnt get the name Celeste (Im Egyptian its not a common name though we do speak a lot of French). But they love nicknames. In our culture you tend to call people by a nickname over their actual name. And they all call her CeCe which they adore. Theyre all obsessed with her now and tell me how much they love her name.

The kicks were really unenjoyable to be overall but I was glad for them because I knew she was ok in there. Rarely ever had to do kick counts and such because she was just always moving. My rib is still bruised though lol

Names are hard especially boys. But I love Ezra. I picked my girls name years before she was born (named her Celeste). But I still asked my husband for thoughts and he really wanted Natasha. I vetod that so fast. Just sounds like a Russian spy name lol. So I get you on just saying no to certain names. I already picked a name if we ever had another daughter but for the life of me cant think of boy names. Maybe Zayn (Arabic name that would be a tribute to my heritage)

I sent in pictures and she responded today. She confirmed its HFM. I also have a rash starting on my fingertips today. My fever broke at least. She recommended calamine lotion, hydrocortisone cream and oatmeal baths.

Its a private practice where she is the only doctor but I prefer that over large groups. She really takes her time at appointments and we never feel rushed or like a number.

Your idea is an infeasible logistical nightmare. You dont need to have another idea to know this. The current solution of penalty kicks is fine. They already tried golden goals (sudden death) and it turned into teams playing too defensively and games dragging on even more. These are players who are running for hours and getting injured. No need to keep them playing for so much longer or multiple days and wear them out like that. And thats aside from making the logistics of selling tickets, securing a stadium, staff, TV time slots, work

I do think that overtime should be set time but also sudden death. As in the first to score wins but if after 30 min of overtime no one has scored then it should go to penalty kicks.

No its not all over her body. Mostly around her mouth, cheeks, whole diaper area and the tops of her hands and feet (but not palms/soles like usual HFM). But I sent pics to a few parents without saying anything and they all said it looks like HFM

Yeah part of why he disliked the break was because he saw how it wore me out. So he wasnt really able to enjoy it. So its just hard now. Maybe when our daughter gets over this phase shes in now.

Thanks. I think its that were perpetually tired and sleep deprived and hes not happy with his job (but he also never is at any company he works for so). Things I cant really do anything about other than try and give him a break now and then with our kid. I took her out all day last week to give him time alone at home. But he didnt seem to appreciate that either.

Not really but I dont know what to do about it.

Its not hand foot & mouth because you dont get that on your face. My kid passed it on to me a few years back. So I got to experience it. Rosella or Fifth disease maybe? Or it could just be a virus that caused a reaction.

Tons of pictures I look up for HFM show a rash around the mouth and cheeks similar to what she has. I also called the pediatricians office and described the rash and they said it could be it as well but of course Id need to bring her in to confirm but the doctor is out until Monday. Not everyone experiences it the same. My friends niece was diagnosed with it and only had sores in the back of her mouth. It could be something else definitely but Im not ruling it out either. Either way Im going to treat it with an oatmeal bath and lotion and take her in Monday if its not better.

My girl was sent home from daycare on Thursday with a fever. We took her to the pediatrician but she thought it was just a cold. Then yesterday she broke out in a huge rash on her face and diaper area. I dont know if its hand, foot and mouth as I dont see anything on her hands and feet (except a few dots on the top of her hands and between fingers). But it does look like the same rash. Shes so crabby and not eating much. She told me shes hungry and I made her breakfast but she didnt touch it. Her fever is down to 99 and I dont want to take her to urgent care unless its serious. Theyre flooded with RSV and Covid cases I would rather not expose her. Going to give her an oatmeal bath and hope it helps.

Yeah thats one thing I like about my job. I get to advocate for my candidates. Especially when theyre minorities. Ive worked with teams on making sure their interview panel wasnt all white dudes and that the interview process is the same for everyone. Ive given interview trainings as well on how to minimize unconscious bias. Ive fought for some candidates that aced the interview but for whatever reason we were going to turn them down. Ive given candidates offers over what they asked for because they were clearly underpaid, especially minorities and women. I feel like I can make more of a difference on this side of the house.

Have you received a written offer yet that shows 37.5k instead of 40k? If so then it doesnt hurt to mention you were told 40k and inquire about it.

I wouldnt mind a halfway 10-15 min intermission . I always need a bathroom break and miss out on something or I want to get more snacks but cant. Ive been oversees where they have intermissions and thought it was nice. But no way would I deal with ads all throughout.

I got to 6 figures without any connections but after I made them it made it easier to find jobs if I wanted to leave and get some pay bumps in between. My last 2 out of 3 jobs have been thanks to connections who referred me. But I didnt need them to get started.

I was an EE but honestly it was a bad experience for me. For one I was never really all that passionate about it but I was pushed by my parents who are middle eastern and wanted at least one engineer kid to brag about to people. I was good at math and physics so I was chosen as tribute and basically forced into it.

Then I hated it but also experienced so much sexism and discrimination that it made me hate it even more. I thought of going the PM route or sales engineer but ended up sort of just trying recruiting engineers instead and that clicked for me and been doing it ever since. Its fun because I can follow what my technical candidates are saying and know exactly how to match them to the right role and my hiring managers love working with me for that reason. I cant code so I wont pretend I can sniff that out but I know enough to know if a candidate is bullshitting about their technical depth which I will let the interviewers know so they can dig deeper on tech screens. And Im usually proven right.
