Pretty sure TC isn't even trying to discuss why Peter is the way he currently is. He's simply trying to state he has an unhealthy coping mechanism that's ruining his life. Peter is someone that needed therapy and someone to talk to after Ben's passing, just like how Anakin needed the same when he was rescued from Tatooine and again after his mother was killed. Jumping off of rooftops and putting the city on your back at the expense of your own personal relationships and success isn't something a healthy person should do. That's why TC compared him to Superior Spider-Man, who after being in Peter's body for a few months turned his whole entire life around, got him a girlfriend, made him a billionaire, and still managed to keep the city safe.

Wasn't a big plot point of RoS that there are no Jedi and they're all called "Skywalkers" now or something?

It's not defending Southpark. It's defending comedy as a whole from dying because some people use what they see in Comedy for evil. Which, literally everything is used for evil if you look deep enough. You guys are heading in a direction to get comedy abolished or heavy censored to baby proof the world from idiots. I don't agree with everything Southpark does, especially more recent ones. But I just don't like the idea of a world that no one can make a joke because an idiot or someone with malicious intent might use it outside of the comedy realm.
