Sweet Child of Mine and most of the songs ITT completely dwarf Stairway now. It's not even the most recognizable opening Zeppelin riff, and Black Dog and Rock and Roll are more commonly played.

It would be cool to have better AI for party members, but FFVII:R is already structured in a way that you have to manually control your other characters.

Depends on weather Nintendo is involved or not. I would love to see a really dark and moody Metroid horror movie, but that'll never get made. Legend of Zelda could be fun, but you run the risk of them turning Link into his sassy cartoon counterpart from the '90s.

Honestly, Donkey Kong seems like the most natural pick for their next movie.

I don't think I have this issue with rhythm games that have scrolling notes/icons per se, but I feel this way with non-rhythm games with a rhythm aspect, or ones with representational visuals. Stuff like Metal: Hellsinger, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Space Channel 5, etc. I freak out when it when I try to play those.

The finale was a special like three years after the show had already ended. I think they just made a finale to come up with closure after it blew up on streaming.

I'm thankful for zoomers bringing "sheesh" back, at least.

"Clapback" has been around for like a decade, and "throwing shade" for almost as long.

Daisy did an interview with Josh Gad once, and he asked her how she felt about the big twist with her. J. J. Abrams went up to her in the middle of filming RoS and said "guess what, Palpatine is your grandfather". Then the very next day, she went up to him and asked him about it, and he said "actually, no, we're probably not doing that". And then a few days later, they changed it back.

I think Disney has done a really good job with the IP...except the sequel trilogy. Which is the one you would expect they'd have the attention to. It's like night and day compared to the MCU in terms of planned out everything was in advance.

The reason the whole "woke" thing is so out of control is because of the news capitalizing on rando tweets and user reviews that were barely getting any traction to begin with.

Of course when you have social media with minimal filters for opinion, you're obviously going to get dumb or backwards opinions. But publishing stories about them is making it worse than it is.

Not in the literal sense. I've known people who are nihilistic, but they're also clearly more depressed than anything and not worth dealing with.

Yeah, that's why the Boston Globe article that kickstarted the whole thing into the public consciousness was such a big deal despite there being cases reported for decades: because it was the first proof that the church enabled it.

The article revealed they basically had an entire relocation program in place where the priests would have their names changed, and moved to somewhere else in the world to keep doing what they do.
