I feel ya. There's this woman I keep having to deal with at work, and I just can't believe she got to be as old as she is without ever learning how to read a room or shut the fuck up once in a while.

On a similar note, my biggest pet peeve is being interrupted. Active listening is fine, but some people just won't wait their turn and it feels a bit insulting.

Yup, 5 and 10 year. They were a lot of fun! One of the reunions even resulted in my best friend dating a woman who hed not really connected with back in high school.

It's interesting that you brought up TWD because I've had that on my mind recently. I stopped watching shortly before Negan was introduced, because I kinda got sick of the cycle of the protagonists dealing with evil faction, thinking for a moment that things would chill out, and then running into another evil faction. Like, I get it, things are miserable and will always be miserable. But, part of me is tempted to resume it anyway just to see how it ends.

As cool as raccoons are, I'm voting opossum because of a beloved stuffed animal from my childhood. My mom got it for me at a craft fair. Not only was it adorable, it came with three tiny opossum finger puppets stored in its pouch (each with different-colored snoots!). For that, opossums have a special place in my heart.

Hey Arnold and it's not even close. Rugrats was just the thing I'd watch if there was nothing else on.

Side note: Apparently Hey Arnold taught me the wrong way to pronounce "mauve." I pronounced it like "mohv" and my coworkers had no idea what I was talking about. I asked a bunch of people how they pronounced it, and apparently I'm the only one who was saying "mohv" instead of "mahv" >_>

Its a fun little romp but not super memorable. Nothing great or particularly bad about it.

What are you thankful about, right now? I get two and a half weeks off from work for Christmas!

Whats something youre looking forward to? I'm about to go play ultimate frisbee followed by an overnight gaming party with my ol' high school besties!

What happy thoughts are you having? Last week may have been a dumpster fire, but I handled it well, and now I get to have a couple weeks of pure joy. I'm really excited to give my family their Christmas gifts.

Whats something you were dreading, that actually turned out to be quite good? There was a meeting last week that I was a bit on edge about, but it ended up going well.

Is there something youre proud of?
I got all my Christmas shopping done relatively early, and I'm happy with the gifts I got everyone. Like I mentioned above, I took care of things at work well too.
